Victims, Not survivors

Killers, remember that when you're in the Lobby, it says "Waiting for X more victims" Not waiting for survivors.

I feel that as a killer, we need to start addressing them and treating as victims, as that's what they are to us. Really, can you imagine someone from the Halloween movies going to Michael and saying, "Excuse me, but once you trap one of us in the hall closet, would you mind taking a run over across the street so that we can rescue them? Thanks.

Or maybe going up to Freddy, and saying "Heya, you already wounded that guy. We know you could kill him, but really, we want him to survive this, so please go haunt someone else for a few, okay?"

No. We're killers, and killers have rights too. Stop giving in to the "Survivor" propaganda, and do what you have to do to make sure that if there is a survivor in your game, they earned that title!

I think nouns are wrong: it should be "hostages" before the trial and "survivors/victims" at the end, according to their fate. XD

Why reverse? They hang off the tree (hook) just the same.

Ornaments usually have hooks on them to attach to the tree.
In Soviet Russia tree has hooks for ornaments.
    Or
it's the reverse of the process to hook a survivor.

Feedback so far: I Congratulated the lone survivor in my last match and told him he had rightfully earned the title.

The 3 victims reacted as expected, hatefully yelling and attempting to avenge their own deaths through harsh words.

Good.... good... let the hate flow through me. It gives me strength.

    More victims later today!

I don’t think that’s really it. They aren’t victims, they’re surviving the entity’s realm. The name is perfect.
To define, victim is a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action.
Survivor, however- A person who survived, especially a person remains alive after an event where others have died.
    Or,
The remainder of a group of people or things.
    or
A person who copes well with difficulties in their life.
I think survivors is fine, plus it has a better ring to it. Hostages are kidnapped to fulfill a condition, but that’s more commonly used in crime. Survivors is better since this is a new realm, with a to be determined way to escape.

They're hook safety pegs. Gotta be careful, you could lose an eye to one of those things.

Its right there, in the Lobby:

They're our victims. They are our Prey. We should treat them as such.

And killer’s are trying to kill us. We should treat them as nothing’s who want us killed. Do whatever it takes no matter how they feel. They shouldn’t take it personally, they’re psychopathic killers

Exactly! If you're going to earn the title of Survivor, You need to outwit, outplay, and outlast. Thats how it goes right?

...well they're only survivors IF they actually survive - so victims is fitting!

Exactly! Just like how I treat killers like children at a fat camp that need to run a few laps. Or a giant bug that needs a piece of wood smashed over it. Or shooting them in the face with my flashlight like an annoying rude police officer.

You have to earn that killer title. And a lot of you just don't have what it takes. Tsk,tsk,

Had a group of Victims all end up on hooks last night playing Myers, as I had the evil within daily. Made sure I cleared the hook straight away after hooking, at least 2 hooked everyone, (One dude killed himself on the hook). Even let them harvest event nodes.

Got screamed at in end game chat for being cheap cause I downed them in one shot using evil within 3. Didn't even tombstone.

This is our victim culture at its finest, but I don't really mind. They are victims after all.

I had fun playing with my food. :D

Jumpin' Geehosofat! There's not enough coffee in the world to prepare somebody for a close-up pic of Nea like that in the morning. Devs gonna' have to step it up with the killers when the most frightening mug in the game is a hookie.
