Sally Hardesty - Leatherface Survivor?

For those who don't know, Sally Hardesty is the main protagonist in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, where Leatherface comes from. Her brother was Franklin (the namesake of Franklin's Demise). The reason this is not in the Wishlist category is because there is most likely a reason why she wasn't included (Perhaps the license holders only permitted Leatherface?). This is more of a what-if scenario if she was included, so this is speculation on what her perks could have been. NOTE: I have not seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre, so this information is pulled from the wiki.

Some interesting notes that could be made into perks:

  • she was investigating vandalism and grave robbery.
  • she had a small stature.
  • she could engage in long chases.
  • she was able to escape death 6 times in the movie.
  • she seems to be pretty resilient with pain.
  • at the end of the movie, she was slightly crazy.

Vandalism Report
Whenever something is amiss, you receive word of it. Whenever something is being damaged within a 48 meter range, you see that aura for 5/10/15 seconds. While active, suffer from an overall speed penalty of 5% for 5 seconds. Vandalism Report cannot be activated in chases.
"HE HE HE! Come on Franklin! It's gonna be a fun trip! HE! If I have anymore fun today, I don't think I'm gonna be able to take it!" - Franklin Hardesty

The purpose of this perk is to know when and where something is happening. Revealed auras include: survivors injured by the killer (but not downed or hooked), totems being cleansed, generators getting kicked, hooks being sabotaged, and pallets being broken. In the case of broken pallets, you still see the pallet's aura as if it wasn't broken. The speed penalty is intended to be like a distraction, so you can look and see where the action is taking place. The speed penalty includes all interactions as well as movement speed.

Franklin's Intuition
You lost once someone because you did not heed the warnings. When the killer comes within 20/28/36 meters of you, your character will gasp and reveal your location to the killer. Once triggered, you are able to run without leaving scratch marks for 3 seconds. Has a cool down of 45 seconds.
"Go! Go!" - Sally Hardesty

The purpose of this perk two-fold. It informs you and other survivors within auditory range that the killer is nearby, great against killers with stealth abilities (same restrictions as Spine Chill). The second purpose is to draw attention to you and away from survivors you might be near. Calm Spirit will remove the gasp and the location notification.

Midnight Chase
Your determination to survive is a blessing and a curse. Whenever a survivor is killed or sacrificed, Midnight Chase gains a token. Each token:

  • Grants a permanent 1/2/3% movement speed.
  • Grants an additional 1/2/3% movement speed boost for 10 seconds when entering a chase.
  • Stagger effects from long falls are reduced by 20%.
  • Interaction speeds reduced by 10%
  • Skill checks have a 33% chance to randomly appear in a different place on the screen.
  • Skill check success zones are reduced.
"Oh, I wish they hadn't let the place fall apart." - Sally Hardesty

The purpose of this perk is to increase your survival in chases at the cost of penalties in other areas. At Tier 3 and 3 sacrificed survivors, Your default running speed becomes 109%; When a chase has begun, your running speed is 118% for 10 seconds; Stagger effects are reduced by 60%; interaction speeds are reduced by 30%, and there is a 99% chance for the skill check to appear in a random spot. Speed penalty can be countered by equipping Left Behind if you are the last survivor. Calm Spirit would also reduce the skill check randomness to 25%.

Overall, her perks would enhance her survival chances by knowing where the killer is and extending chases at the cost of her ability to do objectives.

I think it was purely Killer DLC to even out the numbers. Good idea though!

I think it’s a great Idea, but adding sally in the game means they would have to buy some rights/ a little license to use that person from the movie aswell, but as I said, I think it is a great idea!

Visually, she would look very, very similar to Kate, which would also cause issues.

Especially considering that's when Kate was originally going to be introduced.

I definitely think her presence would be great considering she was horrors first ever final girl. I'm sure though if she wasn't there, then Behavior probably had a good reasoning to.
