Got reported for farming with survivors

What a wild time we're in. Didnt even kill them. The person that says they're reporting died to EGC on their own but i just think its funny that someone is like. "Wow you were nice to me, im gonna report you now."

They’re probably new and misunderstanding the term “farming” in the report system, as what that’s meant for is when it tends to go hand in hand with working with one or two survivors to intentionally grief other survivors.

Why do you care? Unless you sided with someone or kept someone hostage for the whole game, you are untouchable. Let these kids spit out whatever they want.

According to the forums, the reports basically go in a bin somewhere that gets dumped at the end of each week. They do nothing.

Nothing will happen. You should be safe.

But why do you think you were nice to them? Some players hate farming, so they are not happy when you do it.

    Reports are useless.

So you can farm all the games that you want, BHVR Will not ban you, even if you insult, report system is like LoL, it is in the Game and make you feel better when you press "Report" button, but is useless.

That's why I stopped farming when someone disconnects or suicides. Because people threatened me for being nice.

I had a Zarina go off on me for sparing a Steve. Couldn't find the hatch so let him do the last 2 gens then found the hatch on the way to the door. I mean, Big Sis needs someone to babysit Victor.

Had a Yui go off on me cause I was leaving people slugged instead of killing them off cause they were still at 4 gens to go. (I'm not a sweaty jerk) Then when I downed her they had popped 2 gens, so I sacrificed her. She was mad the others got 2nd chances and she didn't. Oh well.

Most appreciate it and love it. Had some thank me for the other person. Like thanks for letting my boyfriend get his x amount of pallet stuns in a match, it made his night.

Egh, that's just a excuse you're making. Killers have threatened me for not dying to them, so I guess I should always make sure I get sacrificed every match to not hurt their feelings? I tend to spare someone every match and get love. I have spared everyone in matches and get love. I have let a couple people farm cause of suicides or disconnects, I get love.

Having a bad apple and deciding to burn the orchard down to spite it is pitiful.

Don't worry, reports mean nothing, just like any game. Farm away, fellow player!

Nah, it's cause and effect. People shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them and then act surprised when the other side stops being nice.

No it isn't. That's literally projecting one individual or individual group onto the mass. If someone is mugged by a person of one ethnic background, it doesn't give them the right to treat differently and hate on all people of that ethnic background cause of that one bad apple. v.v

Excuse me Mr Mod but that IS not true. I reported 4 times the same player on 7 data for being toxic insultong, deserving Can... And deaths and he still playing, we are a smart group on Xbox and we know each others, I got matched with him like 13-15 times since the last report and he still being toxic and playing.... So excuse me if I dont trust your words.

    Apples and Oranges.

I don´t hate the other side and neither i´m bad to the other side (unless you consider playing normal being bad). But i won´t risk getting a ban or something, just because people start to report me for being nice.

Farming is still lame to be honest. Just play the game.

Could we please get some sort of notification when reports we've made have been reviewed, and/or whether action was taken or not? This is primarily what leads your community to distrust that reports are actually examined or do anything.

Why not start giving warnings for false bans and deliver an in game message on why they're getting the warning? I assume there needs to be a system added to do this but i think it'd be a good idea so as to lower the number of false reports.

this makes no sense, because there is nothing to do till the "report" is looked at. there is nothing false about what someone thinks happens, if they report what they believe they have to have evidence to back it up and that is not a "FALSE" ban or anything like that. nothing happens just because someone clicks a button after the match and bitches in the end game chat.

While i usually dont report for farming (unless the killer and one or two survivors are farming the rest) i get angry in farm matches sometimes. My playtime is very limited, and there is nothing worse than to make time for that one game and the killer (or a survivor) is not playing seriously.

Because my time slot is wasted. I cant even disconnect and go to another game, because thats another 5 minutes in a game i reserved 15 minutes for. Its a little different with dcs (if i think its a genuine dc, not the "the killer downed me"-dc), but wasting a perfectly good game with farming is just a boring waste of time for me.
