I think we all deserve a QoL / Health Chapter at this point

Please BHVR, be smart.

You might have the next liscenced deal in your pocket already, but in the end you would get more players coming back and newer players would stay more likely. I still love DbD, but right now we have more bugs then ever, they're just stacking up while older bugs (like no sounds on the ground etc.) exists for months.

If there's is any game what deserves a health update after more then 4 years, it's DbD. Bundle your resources. No new cosmetics, maps, perks and chars are needed now - just try to fix the majority of bugs and (re)think the foundation / balance of the game.

Happy new year to all survivors and killers.

Please make the next year the best of DbD.

It's like when someone says they can handle alcohol and it ends up with them getting drunk and starts fighting with everyone lmao.

There have been certain issues for years. A lot of bugs and that are in the game as well as it not being balanced between survivors and killers which causes a lot of anger, frustration and arguing (as well as toxicity). The last chapter has proven that they have bugs and that they need to fix and the only way they can fix them all properly and that is to not release any content, cosmetics, perks, etc, but instead fix them!

I agree with pausing on new content. Those devs should be used to help figure out these bugs.

Btw Cosmetics would still come since it's a different set of Devs.

I think it could work if they continue to release cosmetics but put a chapter release on hold for a while, and work on the bugs.

We would get all the bugs back at the release of the following dlc. Would it be worth to not have new content for 6 months just to have LESS bugs for 3 months? I don't think so

Yeah they've said before that they have a (small) dedicated team making cosmetics and art that don't work on other aspects of the game, so I would expect cosmetics and visual changes to still come, but I would be perfectly fine with them taking the entire next chapter "off" of making fully new content (such as new killer/map/survivor) and just doing a big bugfix and balance pass on most of the game.

There are so incredibly many perks that are utterly useless or brokenly overpowered (honestly mostly useless perks that make good perks seem brokenly OP, DS is really the only survivor perk I think is actually super OP and Ruin is only so good because base gen kicking is so hilariously useless), that everyone boils down to running the same 6-7 perks on rotation on basically every killer and at all times as survivor. There's so many random bugs and inconsistencies with the game that it can make playing downright infuriating at times.

They said console performance fix 3 years ago either.

I've pretty much stopped playing this game. I watch YouTube videos of dbd and post here on the forums but I just can not play this game without encountering a bug and it's painful. If they didn't release the next chapter as expected and dedicated a chapter to really fixing bugs and improving the game quality then I might start playing again.

The toxicity on this game + bugs just makes the game hard to enjoy.
