Waiting 10 minutes for a game that lasts about 6-7 minutes is pretty tough, especially when depending on your teammates to be fair sports otherwise it’s gunna go one way or the other.

After every 2 gens complete, a power surge hits. Need to find and fix a panel to continue on generators

-panels take 25 seconds to reroute 

-4 or 5 panels evenly spread across map, only 2 will need to be fixed

-gens can not digress while power surge is active

not only sprucing up survivor objectives, It’s giving killer about a 50 second intermission. Since survivors will hop on the panels soon as possible, (SWF will camp panels) this won’t be an opportunity for killers to take the game hostage, nor snowball. The idea is so experienced killers don’t have to target specific survivors or play in a manner that’s can’t be enjoyed.

    I’m a survivor main just getting into killer, instead of playing other games like I’ve been starting too, I’d rather help dbd.

    This isn't actually a terrible idea tbh. Gives survivors an extra objective to deal with and gives killers more things to patrol. Main concern I would have is that the intermission gives survivors a lot of extra time where they can hunt for totems, so it might unintentionally nerf Hex perks a decent bit.

    I like the sounds of this too. I hope the devs take this idea to heart and realize how fast some gens can be done. Been having gens completed in under 5 minutes way too often lately.

    I'm not sure if this is the right approach since it adds more to patrol but it sounds like a good idea. I'm sick of going into games and having to juggle several gens at 70-80%. I genuinely feel the need to run Corrupt Intervention and/or Pop Goes The Weasel on most killers I play. I also feel some toolbox add-ons don't even need to exist, like Brand-New Part. The fact that it adds 30% for hitting, in my opinion, relatively easy skill checks is insane. If I'm not wrong, it's 30% over 5 seconds too which is just overkill. It could be 10 seconds as well because I'm not too sure but even 30% over 10 seconds is still powerful. Even without Brand-New Part, I feel toolboxes make gen progression faster than it needs to be. There's already 7 gens I need to patrol, all split across the map, it's just annoying having 2-3 gens finished before it even hits the 5 minute mark.
