Is iron will a meta perk
I ask because im making it a rule for myself to only use one meta perk in my build and I already have one so I'm wondering if iron will meta. If it is why?

It's a part of the rotation... In My Opinion though

i Think so. Although why does it matter? Run what you want and don’t worry about what someone else thinks.

It's good for any killer, and is one of the "counters" against spirit. Whilst looping, them not being able to hear your sound when you're injured helps ALOT in mind games.
And I do see it alot, so I'd say it's meta.

Iron Will will sponsor many plays that wouldn't be possible without it. It's hard to really estimate it's value tho, except against a Stridorless Spirit.

Yes, because for some reason it masks all sounds a survivor makes, including breathing and footsteps for some reason
it is horrifically bugged which makes it just strong enough to be considered meta, would be nice if the perk actually worked as intended and masked only the injured sounds

Sure is for me, I feel quite naked and vulnerable whenever I don't have it. And I see it a fair bit in the builds of other survivors as well. And I can't blame them for a second, as it's so useful both for genuine evasive stealth and in chases.

I would call Iron Will meta.

I've seen it a decent amount. I don't run it because I like other perks but most of my friends run it. It especially helps with the newer survivors whose screams are ear piercing. I can't tell you how many times I've caught someone just because their character was too loud

It's a meta perk. Preventing the killer from hearing your grunts of pain (sans Stridor) takes away one of their biggest basic tracking tools. Especially since it can be hard to see the blood puddles in some places.
Iron Will allows for a lot more mindgame and stealth opportunities too, which would otherwise not be possible when injured.
It's not as flashy as stuff like DS or Deliverance, but Iron Will is still a pretty strong perk and provides a useful ability on a regular basis (you will almost always get some value from it in the average trial).
Iron Will is quite effective against killers that regularly lose sight of survivors (or lose elements of tracking while in their power) like Spirit, Legion, or Twins. It's also a pleasant tool to have when against any other killer in the game who isn't Plague (it's nearly useless against her).

It is meta but I don't think its as meta as some other perks like Decisive or Borrowed.

Iron Will is literally the best survivor perk in the game, beating out DS and Unbreakable.

I mean sure it is, however it's also a fair perk.

Iron Will is my must-perk for any survivors.
It's great especially when you are being chased by a killer and making them confused with your scratch marks.
Most of the time grunts and moans provide clues for killers but Iron Will negates all that which is a real bonus.
A problem though, is that if other survivors are running the perk then it's really hard to heal since you never really know where they are.

Strictly based on how often I see Survivors use it, I would say no. It's a great perk but with so many perks now in the game, it seems most people have moved on to more "exciting" options.
