Survivor lock lobby
Do you guys think survivors should be locked like killers are? Im not a crying saying survivors are op or killers are to weak. Im just asking your guys opinions.

nope. killer lock has a point (match player to team based on their skill with that killer). it may not be fully implemented yet but it will be. Locking survivor would be pointless.

If its not implemented yet shouldn't killers be unlocked till they implement it? Also do we even know that they are still going with that system. They kinda abandoned the system awhile ago. So isn't it pointless at this point?

They do not want to push an update just to remove the killer lock. It’s clear that if they were giving up on the mmr then they would have removed the lock. Since they haven’t then that means it’s still being worked on for release.

I would be ok with them unlocking killers in the lobby again, and honestly if they really have abandoned MMR it would be pretty pointless as you say. But they have mentioned in the last few months that MMR is still gathering data in the background, so my assumption is they are going to re-enable it, probably in a test phase on a subset of servers or platforms. It has also been found that there was a rank reward added to the code in the last chapter, which I think will be activated when the new MMR is live

MMR is implemented, and BHVR is switching it on and off periodically to see if it works as expected, if they were to unlock killers they would need to release an update each time they want to switch MMR on or off
By keeping the killer locked they can turn MMR on or off whenever they want, without releasing any update
(I don't like that the killer is locked either, but I understand that it makes sense for it to be that way)

No, I don't see a point in locking survivors. What I really want is killers to not be locked. I understand why it's like this but it's still one of those pet peeves I have with this game.

I think when looking for a match it should just load into the game instead of the lobby.
