Something with Plague that I've Noticed
I feel like this needs to get looked at. Plague is, as everyone knows, a fairly weak killer and her power is kinda... meh. Although I've noticed something with her puke, it's inconsistent. I'm not sure if hit validation is back, but this was a problem even prior and I don't generally lag in my matches. She'll puke on a survivor or a survivor will go on a gen that's infected... and they won't get infected. It's literally the opposite problem of Huntress. Huntress basically chucks whales at survivors because it feels like a hatchet could be five feet away and hit you, Plague you can be spot on and nothing will happen. Why is that?
PS: It also does the animation that the survivor was hit with the puke and they won't get sick

I feel like a power like Plague's is bound to have inconsistencies. It's unfortunate and very frustrating sometimes because I actually love her power and her aesthetic but I avoid playing her now because of it.

This has been a giant issue with her ever since dedicated servers got released, and the truly sad part is that the first round of hit validation actually fixed it while it was active. And it also effects her corrupt purge, so... Yeah.
It is honestly the only reason I stopped maining her. Nothing is worse than being in a tense situation where you need to land a shot you aren't going to get a second chance at, only for the survivor to scream in agony as they casually do absolutely nothing else and don't get injured or downed because Git Gud Scrub.
Seriously, I've had trials where I unload a full corrupt purge into someone's face as they're standing still, they do the scream thing, and then for the rest of the corrupt purge instance they are invulnerable because something registered it as hitting them but it didn't actually hit them.

I was playing her a lot a few months ago. I'd run across the issue where you puke on someone, they make a noise, but they aren't infected probably about once every game. What made me stop is when I was playing one round chasing someone, puked on them 3x, they made the sound each time, but were never infected. I just left the game and have only played her for a daily once or twice since then. I really hope they can fix her because while she isn't top tier I did find her fun to play when her power actually works.

This issue with Plague has been going on for what, 1-2 years now? Hard to fully remember but it's basically ever since dedicated servers came out as the issues are generally ping related. Seeing as it's been that long I've lost faith in it getting fixed ever.
Even if it did get fixed Plague is still an underwhelming killer that has a lot of design issues. The main reason people don't play her is because the survivors control your power and that's just not fun, strong, or good design.

I thought I was going crazy. Pretty often I'll corrupt purge at a survivor and then they scream in pain... and walk it off.
They can already be injured and everything and it still won't down them. (Not to be confused with borrowed time)
It's a real shame because I like this killer very much.

I have no clue, I didn't get the game till it released on switch because it was the only platform I owned that it would work on that also had it. I noticed that problem starting the first match I ever played as her and to this day it still happens. Which is sad because I think the idea of a diseased killer is kinda cool.

Oh I agree. If we were talking only thematically, she's my favorite killer. It's just disappointing that her strength and play style don't follow suit.

The killer with the lowest pick rate, huge bugs / issues ah yes.
I'm not sure Behavior will ever address her problems at this rate. It's a glaring predicament if you ask me. Like it's cool that they're looking at toning Freddy down and giving Clown a rework but my god, after all that settles please consider looking at Plague.
Idk if they will though it feels like they just don't care about her rn probably because she has low pickrate and they wanna focus on other things which reminds me of the key rework as well.

It's been explained before.
Her puke basically has a hit box sphere like shape every like foot of the stream or so. The result is that survivors can literally pass right through the stream if they happen to luckily pass through it right between those nodes.
It's like that.
It's not an actual stream like it appears visually unfortunately; but even still you would think they could afford a few more hitboxes to fill in the gaps or something....

The problem is that the emetic add-ons which increase vile purge's "efficiency" are what add more projectiles to the puke stream. It's why they're one of her strongest add-on types along with the apples and black incense.
But that doesn't excuse the fact that it's bs when survivors somehow completely avoid infection / getting hit by your stream of puke. ESPECIALLY when it visually hits them, they cry out but don't get infected/take damage.
They need to fix this asap

If not add more than make the hitboxes longer. It's kinda of stupid that they're small enough that survivors can just walk through it without getting infected. Like what is the point of having the power if you can't use it in an effective way? It's even more horrendous on console for obvious reasons.

That seems pretty op with things like play with your food or other speedy perks since you no longer need to aim. Yet, probably super weak if the survivors are good at keeping distance and looping tightly around corners.

That's really sad that plague your favorite killer. Emblem system definitely hates plague. I would say that if you wanted plague to compete against top 1% of survivors, they'd need to do two changes to plague for that to occur.
1) The cooldown after puking would need to be removed. Its extremely clunky gameplay wise to consistently get slowed down even for infecting a generator or tiny object. Pyramid head same problem and its awful from gameplay perspective. hope his change one day gets reverted or something.
2) Getting hit by Corrupt puke should not make you immune for 3 seconds to damage and should be able to double hit the survivor in single puke.
Plague's power is not really controlled by the survivors, her base power is ability to inflict broken status which denies survivor from their sprint burst when they take a hit and latter power is really potent huntress. The two things that stop her from being super strong is the fact that when you use vile purge, you suffer a movement speed slowdown+cooldown which prevents you from m1's survivor that lost a health state(makes her instant down ineffective) and the fact that corrupt puke is unable to hit 2 times in a single puke. If those restrictions were removed and emblem system stop punishing instant down killers, I definitely think she'd be one of most popular killers.
