will we ever have a void master/time manipulator killer?
A killer tha can make some sorth of giant sphere of void which revert time or pause it, which could actually make a gen that just has been completed back to incomplete, you dropped the pallet but actually you are going back and pull it back up, would be really cool to see this in action

This would be a great idea, however with the state of the game. I don't know if it's doable. Could see janky complaints from both sides in regards to hitboxes. I think making gens regress from repaired to broken is a little too op. Especially if it can regress like from ruin or kicking it. Plus with how they code the game it would be very difficult. But who knows maybe they'll surprise us!

I don't see how it could be enjoyable to go against. Anything to do with reversing time basicly just means undoing your opponents success. Fine for a single player title, not so much for a game like dbd

I think it could only work if they can only affect themselves, speeding their speed up and going back through their own timeline like a video in reverse.

Games with mechanics that are anything like that are typically designed 100% around that mechanic. If these devs tried to shoehorn it in, well, congrats, we'll all be waiting til dbd2 lands before ever playing dbd again.

Sounds like a good idea never considered it

from what i had in mind you can only revert like 3-5 seconds in time, so if you want the gen to be incompleted again you'd have to be literally there when it finishes

Seems a little redundant if by 5 or so seconds unless you play mad defensively with the gen regressing. Seems weak though, I'd hop on and take the hit if it means I could repair it even if it would equal a down unless it was last hook. Leaves the killer in a dilemma where if they pick them up it'll be gone. Or they have 2 other possible generators going. Even if it is a close 3 gen survivors can possibly complete them depending on the overall power of the killer if it has enough map pressure like nurse or spirit. However, if it doesn't force the gen into regressing. I take it back being weak if you manage to have pop and instantly kick it. So maybe it has some merit. Still the problem is how consistent and reliable can you do the combo?
