New Autohaven is so ugly

im not sure if anyone agrees with me but i think new autohaven is so ugly it’s actually a joke.
the main problem is that disgusting green tint that covers the map. it’s too dark, ruins the lighting, makes the map look gross and just overall is yuck.
macmillan for example, they removed the blue tint and gave the map natural lighting and how nice does macmillan look? it looks amazing.
Why didn’t use just do natural lighting on autohaven aswell? if yous either tone down or just straight up remove that stupid green overlay the map might actually look good but right now it’s just no. can we maybe get the option to turn on and turn off the filter?

Agreed

Idk, I kinda like it. Serial killer games aren't supposed to be "pretty" like skyrim or dead island

Disagree

Original maps are overall pretty damn ugly (and badly designed mechanically as well), Macmillan rework did improve it quite a lot but I'd still say it looks pretty bad

people whined that they wanted autohavens green overlay to stay for whatever reason and devs listened to them so congrats to everyone who begged for the green tint to stay, you managed to ruin possibly the best realm in the game. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Agreed, it is very bland.

i get that but it literally looks like your looking threw a piece of stained glass at the Notre dame. it’s badly designed

Feel free to have that opinion, plenty of people agree. I just don't mind it, i think its interesting at least.

Yep... It's ugly. Would be fine without the green tint.

I'm in agreement and I'll say it again - looks like bunch of aisles at a post apocalyptic costco. Grounds looks like pavement, foliage looks terrible, and there are wide open spaces everywhere so big you can see clear to the other side of the map. Throw in those new generators that flash sparks constantly saying 'survivor is here!' and it's just a map I don't want to play.

I’m a grumpy old man. I hate change. I hate auto havens worse than changing the channel.

Kinda hurts my eyes a bit, tbh
playing multiple consecutive matches on AutoHaven maps can be somewhat headache inducing😔

The whole game is fairly ugly, with low resolution textures and low poly models and such so it can run on a potato even.
The thing is, Autohaven just looks more ugly because it's brighter- and the brighter it is the more you can see all of the ugly lol.

If you play nurse you just win on that map currently. It's so small like 2 blinks and you can be anywhere at any time.

Yep, the current green is hideous and feels more like the swamp to me than actual swamp.
but then again, everyone said they loved it when it was on ptb so its what we got

Yeah, it's ugly. Running on loops and don't know if it's a pallet there. Pallets blending with that ugly green tint.

My guess is that they did the whole green tint thing because people were sad that Macmillan lost its blue tint after the update
0 -
Exactly. They said that on Twitter.
But I dont understand, players were crying because Macmillan lost its blue tint, and now people cry because Autohaven dont lose its green tint.... its like you cant be happy, always something to say. Devs tried to make us happy but its never enough....

I liked it the way it was. I never wanted any changes

Same here. The intense green tint hurts my eyes.

macmillan looks like a butt--an ugly butt. Why would you want autohaven (which already looks just as bad imo) to also look like a butt?
I play on low settings, and I much appreciated what DbD looked like 2 years ago, after which somehow the devs degraded the graphics to what we have on the non-reworked maps now (which I'm not saying I objectively enjoy either, but they do vaguely resemble the aesthetics on which DbD sold itself to success).

This map is WAY too dark and it feels like they maxed out the contrast.
Aesthetically it looks really bad.

Not joking when I say it painfully strains my eyes trying to see. It's all so green and dark.
