Switch Cross Progression “coming soon”?!?!
So I have shiny new Xbox Series X and for months and months they have said cross progression would be coming to Switch. Well it’s 2021 and no news on this.
I love my switch but man I want to play in 4K and 60 frames but I have hundreds of hours of progression in my Switch and want to link this.
Any news devs or radio silence for months? Y’all did say “soon”.

Xbox won’t get cross Progression though...
if switch gets included it will still only be steam, stadia and switch

Are you sure? I could swear I read that you could transfer switch progress to Xbox or ps4 but not Xbox or ps4 to anywhere else.

There is only Progression transfer (or cross Progression?) from XBox One to Xbox series x/s.
the devs know full cross Progression is wanted by the community and they are probably trying to get it for Xbox and PlayStation. But no one can say if it will be successful atm.

My friend got his ps4 bloodpoints added to his steam so dunno what u mean there's no cross progression, obviously it would be harder to save the data for both cause one uses steam services while other uses xbox or PS servers etc

Why can’t the devs do this? Even freaking games like real royale and paladins do this.
I don’t even care about my purchases. Make it limited and include free unlocks at least.
rocket league doesn’t bring over your purchases which suck sure but progression is there. Come on devs. I’m stuck on switch and have to start over to play on series x? Stupid.

Because it's not only the dev that decide of this, the devs wants the cross progression for all platform. They need the permissions and to work with Sony, Microsoft and the rights owner for licensed characters.
Stadia/Steam don't care and always say yes for cross play/cross progression, for Nintendo since the Switch as soon as the dev follow the rules they give relatively easily the permission but for Microsoft/Sony it's an other thing... ( and with a new console generation... They may be tempted to wait for saying 'OK' because Sony want that PS4 owner bought à PS5 not a Xbox thank's to cross progression )
