Should White Ward Counter Franklin’s Demise?
What are people’s thoughts on this? Black Ward Guarantees protection against items/add-ons where as White Ward doesn’t when the killer has Franklin’s. Should it counter Franklin’s or should it be left as is?

Well Black Ward is a killer offering that preserves add-ons and does nothing to the survivors. As for the main topic at hand, I don't think it should counter Franklin's. Franklin's whole purpose is to counter survivors who bring powerful items with the intent to sweat, such as four brand new parts or keys. If it did counter Franklin's then survivors could have complete control over the endgame as one example. White Wards would go hand and hand with items. Whenever a remotely powerful item and/or add-ons are being used, chances are white wards would come with it, which renders Franklin's useless. The only counter to keys and items in general at that point would be constant tunneling. Let's be honest no one likes doing that or having that done to them. It is also a pretty inefficient way of playing the game. The argument could be made that white wards would not become that common and would not always be used or high end items are not brought in that frequently. The first argument has a fair point as you need high rarity items, add-ons, and a very rare offerring to commit to one game. But I can say that the second argument is completely invalid. I have a friend who is way more active on the forums and I hear constant complaints about items like keys even with the current role of Franklin's. I did not really cover lower rarity items with the nerf but at that point its probably not worth it. These are my initial thoughts. Please let me know if I left something out or something I took note of was completely incorrect.

I think you should get your item back from the Entity after the match is over, yes.
Originally they wanted to prevent item duping but...who cares?

I do wish White Ward would give you back your item AFTER the match if you lost it to Franklin's Demise.
It hurts when I lose my Rainbow Map + Crystal Beads to Franklin's -3-
Like I can understand the hate against Brand New Parts, Odd Bulbs and Keys but White Ward is supposed to protect you from losing your item during the trial so I feel like you should get to retain it like how Killers always retain add-ons with Black Ward.

I have to disagree with this. The point of the White Ward is to keep you from losing the item you are carrying when you die. Which means you need to find a way to keep your item in order for White Ward to work. If you care so much about your item then jump in a freaking locker. If there's none nearby than that's to bad.
Note: I play both sides and plenty of times have lost good items due to Franklin's after using a White Ward on it

Yes, lets make an already joke of a perk even more weak.

This honestly would be fine too.

Whether or not they get the item out of the match isn't going to make a difference in the perk's strength. Unless your intention was to grief with it. The perk still has the same impact it would on the match itself.
I couldn't really care either way. If the perk's "strength" is the worry there then the perk can be further strengthened by having items degrade on the ground overtime. To have that balanced it could be done in milestones based on the perk's tier. Every Xs the item loses X charges.
