What will top Year 4 anniversary (as in DLC)

I have noticed the Devs tend to go big when releasing a DLC for their anniversary. Year 2 was the introduction of Cosmetics and clown (gross). Year 3 was Ghostface and Year 4 was Silent Hill. (I don’t know Year 1, as I wasn’t playing the game then)

The big question is, What will top Year 4? It is always fun to speculate but it always seems that we look way too deep into it. We always seem to too far off when predicting what the next chapter will be.

My Predictions are Pennywise (from the IT franchise) or Jason (Friday the 13th franchise). It seems to me that Jason would be the most fit but with the lawsuit and all, his chances are slim to none.

As for Pennywise, it would be a great addition. Not only would it be a big license but it will be a huge deal for the Devs to have a Stephen King character in the game (The Devs are Stephen King fans for those that didn’t know) it would be a massive milestone to have it in the game. Maybe I am looking into it too much, or maybe I am excited.

We still have loads of content waiting for us before we hit Year 5, I think it’s 1 more chapter and 2 mid-chapter patches. What are you guys looking forward to?

    I'm looking forward to collecting 100s of cakes for all my killers so I can alleviate some of this game's soul-crushing grind.

    If they secured Jason somehow, that would be monumental.

    More realistically, I'd love a RE chapter, since it could coordinate well with the Netflix show coming out some time this year.

    Stephen King has always been against any of his properties in games (or at least DBD), so I doubt Pennywise, Carrie, Jack Torrance, or any of them will come to DBD soon, if ever.

    Jason is practically a guarantee though- you can't have a horror game with icons like Freddy and GF while leaving out Jason. Were it not for the lawsuit, he would be in DBD already- as it is, the lawsuit could be over by then, so here's hoping.

    Oh, I forgot about cakes. Can’t wait for that 105% more bps. In all seriousness, they really shouldn’t make the anniversary offerings hard to find. If I remember correctly, in year 4, they were pretty easy to find in the first few days. Then they were about 1 every 3 bloodwebs.

    Imo only DLCs that can top of last year are the horror movie icons that aren't in the game yet.

    I am 100% convinced that Jason's lawsuit will end this first semester of 2021 or else I will cut off a testicle, but my 2nd most viable option is that the new fifth anniversary killer and following a bit of logic would be Nemesis or Mr. X Seeing Mr. X tunneling me or following me to death like in the video game would be epic although a bit toxic if it happened.

    Year 1 was in between the releases of Doctor and Huntress so it wasn't a dlc whatever it was

    I think the only reason they'd leave Jason out is the scar the lawsuit left behind on the franchise. I'd want to see Jason too.
