Is object of obsession bugged?
I just had a game as killer where object of obsession auras was visible even when they were within terror radius and in a chase, even when they were as close as 1 meter. According to its description, auras shouldn't be visible in terror radius!

Unless you were playing Ghost Face and some how still in stealth or Myers in Tier 1... probably.

The Oblivious status effect makes it so you are not considered as inside the terror radius, so Object Of Obsession is always active. Most likely that's what happened here.

Yeah I was playing Freddy, so that makes sense. But damn, I wasn't aware OoO was such a counter to him. They can literally see him at all times if affected by dream in that case while in a chase.

This is why, imo, you should always run something to inflict blindness on freddy- be it Sheep Block, Cat Block, or Hex: The Third Seal.
When they're blind, the perk functions as it would when they're looking at you and you can see their aura, but they can't see yours. On the off-chance there is an OoO, it literally hard counters it so well at the cost of an add-on slot on a killer who doesn't need add-ons.

This is why Freddy has blindness add ons. They make OoO an easy target while they’re blind.
