Please tell me I'm not the only one

As of recently, my games have taken a turn where they seemed from fair games, to completely different routes of ranks, and experience. I'm around the red/purple ranks most of the time, and I have been for months now, almost a year straight. All of a sudden, I end up with rank 19 killers who lack the experience, and get absolutely obliterated by the highly experienced survivors, and me, who just so happens to know a thing or two, but I can defend myself. And then, it's the other way around. I would get out in a game with low experience killer AND survivors, who don't even value to use of f-ing kindred, and either just hide in a bush while there is absolutely no terror radius, or just do a generator, despite being the only option to go for a save. I don't mind it if they are doing an objective, cause duh, but when you see ALL the other survivors get downed, the gen isn't as important anymore. Today it has been people who just let killers reach to them, or camping killers, who apparently think that having 1 kill instead of four, is beneficial for his game.

Now that my rant is over, I have to ask. Am I the only one who is going through this? If so, or if not, please tell me some stories or feed me on insight on the situation. I love this game, but as of lately it's not looking fun for those who lack experience, or for those who are stuck with booger eating teammates. Meet you guys in the comments.
