One thing this event has taught me

Playing strictly one side is a miserable experience. I capped out on survivor vials first and barely played killer at all. It became a drag for those last 15 vials. And now because most survivors I play with seem to be maxed out as well I'm lucky I get maybe 8k in bonus BP. So I've switched to solely playing killer. I'm at 16 vials and it's mindnumbing. No wonder die-hard survivor and killer mains are so ****ing miserable playing this game. If I didn't regularly switch it up between the roles I would have dropped this game a month into playing.

Yes I know I did this to myself.

It's not just the event effects, the game is very repetitive, and various "features" of the game are broken and the devs either don't realize it or refuse to acknowledge it and do something about it. I've lately been finding myself coming closer and closer to not wanting to play the game, simply because it's that repetitive and there many issues which gets abused, which leads to a gameplay experience that cannot be enjoyed because it's that bad.

    It's all opinion-based.
Been exclusively playing Wraith for about a month now.
Besides the usual, i got no new complaints.

Maybe so, but it doesn't change the fact that the game is what it is - namely very repetitive.
It doesn't change the fact either that there are "features" which are broken, even if they're working as intended.
Like for instance, the chase and mechanics loop mechanics in the game - most are actually broken, in the sense of it being imbalanced and is fundamentally flawed, where no amount of tweaking will fix it. Take blood lust for example, it's good when it actually or finally triggers, but when it doesn't trigger, then it's a joke where the killer is paying dearly for it. Certain areas can continously be looped without ever having to actually drop the pallet, obviously some killers deals better with this than others, which is why it's flawed fundamentally, because every killer should be able to deal with it efficiently. So you may say it's all opinion-based, but it doesn't change the facts of the game, and the facts of the game has consequences as well, both good and bad.

One thing with the event I definitely can say isn't a very good thing, is that due to the secondary objective taking so much focus, it screws the intended gamebalance over, where a lot more killers are able to win than normal, which inherently provides them with a higher rank than what they're actually capable of handling.

The event on Killer side feels so so so very tedious and mindless, doesn't it? Feels cheap that killers have to rely on Survivors offerings for a full vial as well.

I learned to just play the game.

I'll be lucky to get 20 vials...But then again, there is only one item I remotely want....so if guess this event worked well. If I wanted the rest bad enough, I would probably spend real $ on it to support the game....But until there are some.really great styles*, I shall continue to play for free.

*Or killer! Gimme a triplet/twin kid or doll killer or a scarecrow/pumpkinhead killer and you can haz my$$
