Jigsaw Box Auras For The Pig
I’m a newer player with 170 hours and I’ve been really enjoying the game however one thing that really bothers me is the fact that The Pig can see auras of the jigsaw boxes and somehow that just doesn’t feel right to me. Hundreds of trials going against her and the same thing usually happens- you get a hat, you get get hooked, you get unhooked and then she comes back to the hook and follows you around so you can’t check boxes until you die because it’s made so easily for her to do so. Now I’m not saying all Pig players have this style but it’s seems to be a common thing I’m dealing with which is making her incredibly oppressive and un-fun to go against to the point that I just wanna give up mid way through. I understand Pyramid Head can’t see auras of his cages right? And The Plague can only see auras of corrupt pools (because that’s her downing ability). So why not do the same for Pig? So that she can’t see auras of her boxes. Maybe I’m not thinking about a logical reason for why she she has this amazing power to be able to see the auras of them. If so then enlighten me. But as far as I’m concerned- it sucks.

I think the more you play the less you'll see of that. That's pretty much a losing strategy for the Pig as your teammates will still be on gens. A good Pig wouldn't waste time on chasing you from the box as they'd know that keeping you off the gen is more important.

IT would make sense imo. They got rid of PHs cage aura as it had a similar problem to a worse degree.

I have the same sentiment as you, removing the aura removes both the ability and temptation to check the boxes.

Reasonable change I'd say. It should be rolled into a pass on her poopy add-ons, many of which encourage the gameplay described here, or outright hurt her.
