When survivors force tunneling/slugging/camping, and then blame the killer
You guys probably know what I'm talking about, when survivors loop on killer shack when the survivor is on the basement, when a swf with 4 flashlights rush to the downed survivor so you're forced to slug, when you return to the hook and you can only find the unhooked, because the unhooker is hiding. And then as you finish your game they blame you for it, and you get another commend on your stream profile. I really can't wrap my head around it. So you basically DEMAND the killer to go to the other side of the map, even if they know you'll do a free save a second later? To not slug and apply more pressure when they know that half of the team is on this side of the map? And if I find the unhooked, and I KNOW that 2-3 survivors work on gens, should I simply let them go and hope I'm lucky? What annoys me isn't that they promote this behavior with their playstile, what annoys me is that they blame the killer for being a dick because they did their job.

Groups like that don't see the killer as an intelligent person, they see something to bully. They don't have self awareness that they're causing the tunneling and slugging and camping by forcing the killer to do said things.
If the killer kills them, they were playing dishonestly and tunneling/camping/slugging/using op build/using op killer/whatever.
If the killer loses, EZ

It reminds me of an anecdote that happened to me in one of my last games.
I down a survivor, I hook him and I proceed to go to a generator where I knew that there was a survivor, in the meantime, he is off the hook so I come back to take advantage of Make your choice, I ignore on purpose the unhooked to go after the unhooker, I down him in a 20s chase, hook him and the 1st unhooked was following me so I down him (he was very close so not even a chase, just turn after the hook and hit him) but I leave him and go chase another who was coming for the 2nd hooked, I down him in 30-40s chase, hook him and like nobody had picked him up in the meantime, I hooked the slug again, he let himself die, game goes on and i finish with a 4k.
The end chat was a flood of insult, everything went there, tunneler, my aim, my mother, my sister (that I don't have ^^), my ancestor, my race and that I was carried by my perks (BBQ, Nurse, PGTW, Make your choice with Legion) xD. The funniest thing being that it was a lvl 1-6, 4-man sfw who insulted me in French (which is my native language^^) and when I replied in French that it was not my fault if he was following me while i was on another chase and that no one had picked him up while I was doing another cycle of hunting and hooking, it has become apologies, gg, gl ng etc ...

I enjoy reading stories like this more than playing for the time being, lol

There’s two types of people:
The one that gets more mad at the Killer than their teammates. (Because friends can do no wrong apparently).
or
The one that gets more mad at their teammates than the Killer.
Situations like yours make me the latter.

Same!

Yeah, there are a lot of silly survivors who do stupid things and then get pissy at the killer for having the audacity to not let the survivor get away with the stupid thing.
My favorite is the dangerous unhook and the BT survivor running at you to body block the survivor who did a unsafe unhook. Then for some reason, I'M the bad guy when I decide to just wait 20 seconds before slapping you down. You clearly wanted to get hit survivor, you can't get mad at me for granting your wish!

why do you even care, just do whatever you want. Stop even trying followrules that don´t exist...

Some people are just like that. I play in a 4 man SWF most of the time, and you bet it's my friends who are in trouble for bad plays rather than the killer. I constantly have to holler at them to do this, do that, instead of what their natural instinct might be in a certain situation. My favorite is when someone goes down while trying to unhook someone, and they won't move their nasty little slug body away from the hook instead of just sitting there 🙄 Killer has no reason to leave the hook or even go and hook you if he can keep his eye on you, the hooked person, and whomever is coming to save. LEAVE SO HE HAS TO WORRY ABOUT LOSING THE SLUG!!!
Most of the people I play with are reasonable when it comes to realizing that their behavior is what caused the killer's behavior, but there are a couple who have embarrassing moments of complete lack of self awareness. And every now and then you get killers who pretend that they did something because of what a survivor did, but in reality it was just uncalled for and they did it because they wanted to lmao

Nobody forces you to you choose to.

Survivors crying about killers slugging/camping/tunneling and killers crying about survivors gen rushing/flashlight saving/swf'ing are like the two sides of a singe coin, a very childish and entitled coin.

This is a great video that explains how the killer may not be tunneling so much as there's no one else to go after. So it's a waste of time to let that unhooked person go. It also highlights situations where tunneling/slugging/camping are actually the best option for the killer and not something that is just to be toxic.

Reminds me last match (3 days ago, I really don't care playing DBD that much anymore) I'm playing oni against a 3 men SWF in Rotten Fields (Rotten Fields is almost a guaranteed L even against 2 men). I got a Feng down and instantly a Adam (and soon after I've downed him a Nea) starts to loop me in the jungle gym that she's hooked, untill she gets to struggle (I'm not using Blood Fury in a jungle gym on corn maps - long walls screw Oni hard - especially without any add-on that reduces charge time).
Nea after got hit ran to another place, so I've chased her and let Feng get unhooked by the third survivor, 'cause I've felt bad for her since her team were been real 4heads.
Can u guess what happened in the chat?

Glad it was funny for you to read !
I shared this cause it almost never happen, most of end game chat with 3-4K at high rank is silent or a single one saying "gg" or "thanks" when i give hatch/door, and in 800hrs of playing, it must be the 1rst one that give me that flow of insults, like more than 15 sentences full of pure rage and trash talking and it had to be people from my country^^, sad exemple tho he apologies after and said he had a very frustating night playing.

Agreed. I rarely blame the Killer. The Killer is doing his job. My teammates often get killed, or get me killed, by being dumb. When I do get mad at the Killer, it is often for things not likely their intentional doing or fault. Like last night I took a hit from a Hag while vaulting the Killer Shack window in which was easily a full meter away from the window after already fully clearing the vault. Annoying, but not as if the Hag cheated. It's just how the hit validated.

Deep down, everyone knows the truth (that slugging, tunneling and camping are legitimate strategies in a variety of situations), it all just comes down to emotions (which many have 0 control over) in situations where a person got beat, so they're upset and need something to blame - bring forth to the stage that no-skill, tunneling POS Killer and his douchebag friends, Camper and Slugger!
It goes both ways as well, obviously.

Did you forget the golden rule from the all mighty survivors rulebook?
Rule #1. Survivors are the only ones that are allowed to have fun.
Any other form of fun created other than that of the survivors are strictly prohibited.
🤪😂

Now you know why a lot of killers dislike red ranks.

Thats why I don't understand all these threads about people complaining about tunneling/camping/slugging. If they put themselves in the killers position I think a lot of us would do the same thing if it was in our best interest.

And sometimes, this happen ;)
Like Forest Gump says, "Life is a box of chocolate".

People need to stop laying the blame on their opponents.
Both killers and survivors do what they got to do. If survivors loop and killers camp or slug they are both feedback loops that feed each other. There is no point in pointing fingers just shows what a bad sport you are.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. I think a lot of it has to do with them being survivor "mains", and they have no idea what the killer can, and cannot, see and hear. If I am following scratch marks and they lead me back to the hook, that is not me camping or tunneling. That is the fault of the rescuer. If the unhooked survivor gets downed, that was an unsafe rescue, not a tunnel. I even had a situation like that where the rescuer led me to the hook and went for an obviously unsafe rescue. I hit the resuer, while the unhooked survivor ran away. While my post-hit animation was going on, the resuer ran to the exit. I was planning on going after them, but the unhooked survivor, for some reason, turned around and tried to run right past me, and I hit them and rehooked them. I hadn't moved, but was still accused of tunneling. I was following the rescuer that led me to the hook, but was accused of camping.
As a survivor, I hate it when my teammates insist on healing me under the hook, because I know that the killer knows that I was unhooked and exactly where it happened. Staying there is foolish. I have been redowned many times because of that. I don't blame the killer for it. I also don't blame the killer if I get downed after an unsafe rescue. If you know the killer is chasing you, don't go for an unsafe rescue, lead the killer away, so someone else can get a safe rescue. Definitely don't keep looping the killer around the hook, preventing others from getting a rescue. Not sure if it is greed or stupidity that leads to those situations.
I saw a video, a while back, where the killer and one of the survivors were both streamers, and the killer posted a video showing both sides of the situation. He was accused of tunneling and camping, but his video showed him going well away from the hook and doing several things before returning to the place where the survivor was unhooked. The survivor's video showed the same thing. It showed the unhooked survivor and the rescuer hanging out under the hook. It was one that was out in the open too, making it even worse. When the killer returned, the rescuer bolted and the unhooked survivor did not, and got rehooked. He then accused the killer of camping and tunneling, which the video showed was not the case. The other survivor even said that he did not see the killer camping or tunneling. That did not stop the other survivor from ranting about how he was camped and tunneled.

When do survivors force me to camp? When I'm dominated by a SWF that's irritating and on the last gen I hook some poor guy. At that point I'm camping because I know
1) I'm losing if I keep playing as I normally do
2) I can count on the SWF to not simply leave one behind and I have a chance to snowball.
Also admittedly these stand-offs with the SWF can be very fun as they trade hooks and try to use BT, DS or body block.
