The feeling of safety Decisive Strike gives is totally unacceptable
It has been said tons of times, but here we go again.
If it is a Killer other than extreme god-tier Nurse which are almost impossible to face, Decisive Strike is too helpful for its users. After being rescued, you get healed, cleanse a totem, do a gen (I am not exaggerating, this is more than possible), get downed against billy because u made a mistake, and hit a skill check to erase it! Awful!

Ds+Ub is literally near invincibility for 60 seconds, and it is the most complained about perk I see. Yet it still has bot been changed to be an actual anti-tunneling perk instead of being what I call "anti-killer".

Literally the only change DS needs is to shorten the time and pause the time during a chase.
*Cough* and make it so that you don't leave scratch marks when you stun the killer. *Cough*

Damn soooo many people are complaining about DS. Tons of threads on the forums about it.
Maybe, if the perk was actually changed to be balanced there wouldn't be so god damn many.

Dude, cmon, this is complete Hyperbole. It's like 16 seconds to get healed. 14 seconds to do a totem. Another 46 seconds to complete a genny with another person. That is well over 60 seconds. Not to mention chase time, unless the Hillbilly just downed you as the gen popped.
I admit there are times when this perk is used offensively. I personally rarely have a problem with DS. I prefer to eat it early if I can. It is really only strong at end game.
What we should consider, is why is the perk so needed/used? You may run this perk for 10 games in a row and only use it once. But people keep equipping it.
I think it is only troublesome on those really skilled players that can use it offensively.

I know, this topic is getting a little bit too familiar, but what should we do if developers don't address this perk?

The Devs know about it without repeating it 300 times per day thinking that YOUR Thread is more unique than every other Thread.
They have talked about trying to remove the abusive side of the Perk, however, it has to be kept in mind that not everyone is using it to run into the Killers face. And if DS will be nerfed into the ground (which is something many Killer players probably want), it also becomes useless for those who play in a fair way.
e.g. the DSes I get to work are 100% due to tunneling Killers. But I am not running into the Killers face, meaning that there are games where I am not able to use my DS, but if I do, it is justified.

My post is not unique at all, I even wrote "It has been said tons of times". Developers for sure will reconsider DS, but when they'll do it? Original DS wasn't significantly changed for like 3 years. What if the story repeats?

They also told us long time ago that they will make significant reconsiderations on maps (as items, the stream devs told us about map changes was very long time ago, like 2-3 years), Vigil, Self Care. Developers talk a lot, but do far less in comparison. Do you see Vigil buffed?

I stick around the forums for a long time and have never seen a person willing the DS to become trash, and the vast majority of players wish Decisive be nerfed or changed fairly anyway. No people other than hopeless killer mains wish it be destroyed.

I also bring DS solely as a defensive tool so I use it very rarely and the uses almost always are completely justified. However, I play Killer a lot as well. I play Killer and Survivor roughly in ratio 1:1 and can easily see how cocky Survivors wishing to bully abuse Decisive and pair it with Unbreakable so they are basically invincible.

"A little bit" is an understatement. Multiple posts a day cuz killer mains so desperately want to get the devs attention to nerf it to where it's useless so they can tunnel freely and not have to worry.

I kind of have to agree.
Last night I took a down at the Killer Shack right as my teammate opened the doors. I was unhooked some 50 seconds ago. With 5 seconds left on the timer, the Ghostface picked me up, I stabbed him with Decisive Strike (I NEVER miss) and then I bolted with a hard W right through the gates thanks to my 5 second head start and escaped.
That is.... a lot... for one perk to do.
