Playing bubba on haddonfield with bbq ruin undying tinkerer.
Never chased anyone more than 10 seconds, always downed them without hitting the chainsaw in a wall. Hooked everyone twice. Still lost game with only one dead, because gen speeds are fine and undying ruin is useless as dogshit by their RNG nature.
Thanks dev team, keep on the "good" work. So why should people play this instead of freddy / slinger / nurse / spirit, that can actually win games more easily? With your pace of "fixing" things, we will arrive at balance in 2040.

LMAO I have those games where I get 8 hooks and no kills or 9 hooks and 1 kill. i would have won with ruin/undying or if I cared enough to target a survivor at 1 or 2 gens remaining.

Also I would start using other builds to get ready for next patch. Ruin/undying will not be as good so try different combos. I had a couple of really good games with surge last night which I have never thought I would ever use. Give it a try. Plus haddonfield should be deleted from game don't even bother re-working/fixing it Bhvr you will just make it worse somehow. Hit delete please. Thanks

8 hooks and no kills. I love how that's how the devs want us to play. Hook everyone 3 times. The way gens are completed and against decent survivors, that is literally impossible without tunneling or the survivors screwing up.

Yup exactly which if I didn't do in those games it's because survivors did nothing wrong. I'm not going to target/tunnel just to 4k. I'll still get 50-80k regardless thanks to BBQ unless that gets changed/nerfed then I might need those extra BP from those hooks.

I play survivor too which is key there BP gain is complete TRASH compared to killer. Main reason I can't understand why 90% of red ranks are perfectly fine with 3 minute games if givin the opportunity at least from my POV. Can't tell you how many times recently Ill see multiple party streamers/Cakes played which I'm the perfect killer to get with those and they want to rush the gens and walk out with 10k. It should be plainly obvious at my rank I'm not tunneling/camping/slugging or even trying to kill anyone in those specific games just trying to max everyone BP gains but nope get less than normal which is a waste in my eyes. The GRIND is real and any help is appreciated by anyone not just the devs.

That's not the devs fault. Tbh you should've tried to kill someone earlier in the round before end game. You had a 9 hook game so the gen speeds seemed fine that game.

Start slugging. Unfortunately and survivors can cry about it if they want, knowing when to slug it's the difference between wining or losing. You need to force survivors out of gens and slugging someone you'll guarantee that at least 3 people will be off gens.

When I use pretty much the same build (swap bbq for discordance) on Bubba I end up 4king way more often than not so I'd say it's a pretty good build. The times when I don't it's a good team that can get things done and I would probably need to sweat on any killer. It doesn't sound like you really did that bad it's just that the survivors were doing a really good job and they lucked out with a good survivor sided map.

Depends on what you consider winning. With short chases and 9 hooks you should get at least Ruthless Killer.

I wouldn't say tunnel exactly but unfortunately you will need to sometimes. Just have to recognise that if 1 survivor is death hook and the rest aren't with 2 gens left then you should try and find that survivor next.
Again I wouldn't call that tunneling. I'd call it reading the situation and understanding what you should do to win.

Well when Rank rewards come out ill deal with the hate mail for it but for now there is not benefit to 4k or ranks to me. So tunneling someone on death hook at 1 or 2 gens remaining so I have a chance to 4k is not worth ruining the game for someone else. Now gloves come off when rank rewards come out.

Again I wouldn't say tunnel. Tunnelling is when you go out of your way to only kill this one person. You'll basically throw the game to kill this one person.

You don't have to. I let survivors decide if I do. If injured people do gens in my face after the unhook, I "tunnel". If people bait their BT just for the sake of needing to mend, even if I didn't go after them, then I tunnel. If a person on death hook tries to body block, I tunnel.
I think actually people on death hook should kinda play a bit more save, but I rarely see that happen.
To the Topic: With Bubba I get 4k even more consistently than with Freddy. And I run Pop, not Ruin+Undying. Devs buffed him pretty hard, no need to rely on Ruin.

I like to slug those types of people. Slows the team down and allows me to chase others the 8-9 hook games with a loss we have been debating is not often. pop is my go to ussually but I am starting to lean a bit more on surge as not not having to kick the gen is so useful. Pop can be so devastating at times as well. last night I ran thano and surge on my oni for first time and loved it. Gens were exploding I didn't think I was in range for. I was demon dashing at a tinkerer proc and noticed a survivor by the crance on ormond and striked him down. Surge somehow reached the tinkerer gen that was in the corner which bought me time to get to the gen. They got the gen 3 hooks later and lossed a david king in the process. Won the game at 2 gens remaining let adam hop in hatch. great match.

Now you got me rewinding the game in my head. At first maybe they could have just missed a skill check when I downed him but surge started it's cooldown at the time and I went straight to the gen and started the chase with the adam who was healthy there was no other down for it to be on cooldown.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't as it needs basic attacks. And Otz recently released a video with exactly that topic and even said that the non swings in demon mode, so without charging and without dashing, don't count as basic attack either

You will have to try yourself. I hit the guy watched the gen explode and start regressing and surge was on cooldown. Not sure what else could do that. Unfortunately I was busy last night so couldn't try again. Don't use Oni often.
