We have temporarily disabled Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater Cosmetic (all queues) due to issues affecting gameplay.

Big question to the devs

Is there anything being done with the bug that makes killer queues take ages?

I'm not buying that everyone suddenly decided to play killer lobby simulator.

Right but this has always been a problem. The event has just made it worse is all.

It's not a bug. More people are playing killer now. Even during free to play events where we just get a massive upsurge in players, people will play killer more often. But for this event specifically, you have the burst of people who want to get killer vials right away making the queue take longer in the beginning. Then you have the fact that the devs made event offerings completely useless to survivors after 30 vials, but just as useful as ever to killers. So after collecting all their vials, people who don't want to waste their bloodpoints or want to bloodpoint farming will definitely be playing killer more.

Well.. That does tell something about that there is an inherent problem somewhere with how the game has been designed, because if there isn't enough survivors/victims to go around, then there is not enough people to support the game, then the other way around, if there aren't enough killers, then aren't enough people to host the game.. It says something, doesn't it?

And that started one day before the event and just happend to align with the day of the patch... and is still going.
I made a thread on steam forums as a lot of people browse them while waiting for the game. These are not normal queue times.

This issue will resolve if they let survivors farm the harvest, so they can use offerings to gain more points.

problem is that the devs havent removed the stupid rank reset. every month the same #########. no one understands why its still in the game. there is not even any rewards for reaching it. oh wait, i remember they mentioned rewards two years ago...oh well, maybe some day lads!

This is the biggest issues right now in this event

I still have to fill some vials as killer and it takes forever to find a match. The last match I had, I needed to wait 22 minutes to get a fully lobby and start the match. I believe that if they changed the way it works for survivors, so if you already have 30 vials, you couldstill harvest and get points, not all people would go play killer at the same time. As of now, it's more rewarding to play killer and the long waits is bad for everybody.

Not to sound bitchy, but the problem is recognized and predictable, but nothing's gonna be done about it?
This isn't our first event with Killer-exclusive rewards after all.

These que times are making killer almost unplayable, any chance of removing the 30/30 cap on survivor so everyone isn't forced on killer atm? I spend more time waiting in que than actually getting to play the game.

Or better... make it so you can get 60 vials by PLAYING WHAT YOU WANT TO PLAY!!!

Who would have thought about that, huh?

The game should be able to handle more killers finding survivors. Im sitting in lobbies waiting for survivors for 30+ minutes. Its not cool. Even when i solo queue as survivor i find a killer lobby and wait forever for more survivors to fill the lobby. Sometimes i wish they'd throw rank out the window since it means nothing anymore anyway.
