Title. Is stepping on a beartrap considered screaming, and would calm spirit nullify the noise notif?

Even if they didn't get the notification, they would still be able to see your aura whilst you are in the trap, unless you also have distortion (which is imo a waste of a slot for such a situational use)

I think it simply works like hag traps where the killer gets a notification no matter what.

Confirmed, I stepped into a bear trap Irl, I infact did scream. It was painful.

Calm spirit and distorsion doesn't counters bear traps in any way, which is very lame and bad.
