Predictions for next killer?
I've been thinking about who could be the next killer recently, would it be a licensed killer or an original BHVR killer?

I think it'll be an original killer, since MCote already said in his 2020 year in review post that the anniversary will be licensed. I don't see them doing licensed chapters back-to-back like before, since they're starting to run out of BIG horror franchises that aren't already in the game.

3 killers per year and at least 1 licensed is the schedule I believe and if the past 2 were original it has to be licensed. They said they dont want to make a habit if doing things back to back, but they want to be surprising on their schedule

I could see the next chapter being licensed, I just don't think it's as likely as an original. But like you said, they want to keep the schedule unpredictable, so you never know. One of the reasons why I think it'll be an original is because there are 4 more realms left that are visually "outdated" (Coldwind, Haddonfield, Swamp & Red Forest). I believe the devs want the reworks for the maps done ASAP, so if 19 was original, they would do 2 realm updates, and finish the last two in the subsequent midchapter. This would make the first new map the Anniversary Chapter, which is going to be licensed. If 19 was a license, they would most likely make a new map (due to the nature of the content), pushing the final reworks to the midchapter of 20, which would be late July-ish. 20 is definitely going to have a map, as it's gonna be a "large" license, since MCote already planted the hype seeds at the end of last year. Honestly, anything can happen, this is just my perspective on the matter.

Well I believe that they said they would never do something like that buuuut you have a good point although if they do another licensed page instead of a chapter they could bring a licensed and maybe even attack haddonfield

I think the next chapter will be Original, since there are still many horror franchise licenses to get like Hellraiser, IT, Candyman, Friday the 13th, Child's Play, Pumpkinhead, Alien, The Thing, among many. Also if it were Original I would like the next killer to be a Pirate or a Magician to give it more creativity.
