Clowns window grunt isn't removed in the PTB.
I wasn't expecting a lot of changes in this rework. But what in the actual [BAD WORD] was the rationale behind keeping that in?!

I heard from a Clown Main that it's there so he isn't overpowered in a chase. He can slow you down and deny pathing if played correctly, so they added this sound to give him at least some counterplay during a chase.
Silent vault Clown could surprise you, slow you down enough so that you can't even reach the next safe spot anymore.

Especially with the reduction in Tonic reload time, it’s hard to imagine the devs removing Clown’s vault grunt, now.

Let me guess, you heard it from clownisking?

Demo has too a ''tell'' when he's vaulting. I doesn't bother anyone why would this do it?

Yep, this. It would be unbalanced if there wasn’t an audible cue.
That might be absurd, until you go against a Clown that can deny a survivor every conceivable option.

Unbelievable. We say buff Clown, they give survivors a potential speed up. We say buff Clown, they add pre-dropped pallets to his map. We say buff Clown, they don't do the most obvious of buffs which is changing his loud vaulting.
Any loop that involves him vaulting, the survivor has a distinct advantage at because they can hear him when he does it. No mindgames at shack, none at jungle gyms, etc. It makes his own perk, Bamboozle, a super weak option on him. He will never even be close to strong just because this interaction exists.

Might be. How did you come to this conclusion^^

I must be the only person who actually enjoys the vaulting sound. It really makes me feel like I’m playing a stupid drunk clown
