Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Game balance idea

The true balance issue is the difference between playing with friends or playing solo. Lackluster players in a swf team can overcome a good killer, while a bad killer can decimate a team of individual decent players in the solo queue. The balance to this issue would be to limit the number of perks on both sides depending on the queue type. swf survivors would only have access to 2 (4 swf) or 3( 3 swf) perk slots. On the other side if a killer enters a solo queue game the killer would only have access to 2 perks. Does everybody hate this? good, then it should work...lol

That sounds like hell for many reasons. Killers already can't swap their character after Q'ed up asking them to redo their build in that minute because two friends want to play together is nuts. Also what about two different groups of 2?

IMO you can't balance around some people communicating and some not. There's entire gameshows built around that idea. Instead give players the tools so every single match feels on the same level as SWF then balance the game around that.

Let survivors talk in game via text or opt in to voice then buff killers around the idea that everyone is now SWF capable.

4 good solo players are better then a bad swf. Swf gives a boost, but the individual skill of players is more important. The problem with playing solo is that you dont get 4 good survivor.
