Why does Adrenaline bring Survivors out of the Dream World?

You are fuelled by unexpected energy when on the verge of escape. Instantly heal from Injured State/Injured State/Injured or Dying State and sprint at 150 % of your normal running speed for 3/5/5 seconds when an Exit Gate opens

I wasn't aware that being in the dream world or not was considered an "injured state". Does it also bring Survivor's madness level to 0 against the Doc? Remove Hemorrhage/Mangled/Exhaustion/Blind/etc/etc? Why specifically Freddy?

Adrenaline is meta now even when not in SWF. Bond is getting there. Self Care is still going strong as ever. The cards just seem to be getting more and more stacked against Sweater Boi. I'm more just genuinely curious about this design choice.

More and more? Adrenaline has done this for several months at least.

I'm sure getting swiped by knife-y claw would also wake most people up but it also wouldn't make sense from a gameplay perspective if he had to put everyone back to sleep after M1'ing them, just like here, soooo....

It's an outdated component from the knee-jerk reaction to Freddy. They need to remove it and move it over to Wake Up.

But then they would have to change the name of the adrenaline perk and redo it because who doesn’t wake up with a huge adrenaline rush? It would totally wreck a perk that only goes into effect for end game and if you make it that far sacrificing a perk slot you deserve the reward

You mean... making it work the same way that it works for literally every other killer in the game? Yes, that would TOTALLY be the thing that murders the perk. It would never be seen again. /s

Adrenaline is the best Survivor perk in the game.  It has been since day 1.  Leave it alone, it rewards a player staying alive.

We're saying that making one of the best perks in the game a direct counter to the weakest killer in the game for no reason at all is stupid.

Adrenaline is a one use perk for end game only, its the NOED of survivor perks and while NOED can be destroyed so can adrenaline by sacrificing the survivor before it activates, the only thing that makes it strong is SWF but that makes most thing seem OP.

If someone in the Freddy movies were given a shot of adrenaline do you think they would wake up?

In the movie, Quentin has to forcibly wake Nancy up by injecting her with adrenaline. It doesn’t need to be changed, Freddy just needs to be reworked/buffed. Its been a year...

Because freddy is not meant to be viable.

Its one of those killers and the devs simply dont like him

It still doesn't make sense gameplay wise, also a sleeping survivor couldn't inject himself with adrenaline in the first place.

Ummm...if you understand adrenaline to begin with, you would never have posted this. Adrenaline gives your entire body a jolt of strength, stamina, and energy. People have been drugged to near unconciousness, but awoken by a shot of adrenaline. It is how you pull people out of deadly shock as well.

It would easily wake someone up from a nightmare. What do you think wakes you up from your real life nightmares? People with low adrenaline have a problem waking up from nightmares. Yes, I am the type of bored person that reads medical and war journals. There is a surprising number of them about the affects of adrenaline.

Read it again. "Adrenaline will wake you up if you are asleep when it triggers."
