Why does it feel like the devs are making it easier for survivors
I play both sides and I never use mori or keys unless for a challenge. It just seems the last couple updates are heavily on the survivor side as nerfing the moria which needed to be but why not keys also. Then the pork undying which I played against it wasn't op it just made you do totems sometimes you guessed right and were rewarded. Perks like ds, unbreakable there is no counter to that combo. Why can't we just make the game balance instead of easier to play survivor. It is called dead by daylight so I would rather be terrified to be near the killer than just ok let me look you for 3 mins so my team can do gens. I really liked kings idea of the map being pitch dark and doing gens light up the area

The simple answer is it was much easier to change the mori coding i.e. 2 hooks instead of 1 as opposed to the coding to completely redo keys.

I mean of course games and ranks very but there are games where I feel the majority of my matches just kicking pallets and then generators pop game over. For the amount of time the killer needs to injure hook down survivors then you add in all the second chance perks , Loops, pallets, sometimes I feel certain maps in the way the RNG is I didn't really stand a chance if the survivors were above a certain skill level unless I was able to slug them all at once and if you playing red ranked survivors have nine lives because they all have so many Second Chance perks

But what about reworking undying keys could just be reworked as only one can be used in a match

It's not quite as simple as the mori number change due to hatch mechanic needing changed along with possibly animations, addons and some achievements may need looked at also.
When it comes to undying the devs said a long time ago after a killer/survivor and perk release or patch they will gather data over a period of time and make changes on what was done if needed.

They do favor survivors. Eventually its going to get so bad there won't be enough killers, and like before they will finally give killers a buff...and then go back to business as usual once they get enough killers playing the game again. Its a vicious cycle they go through and is usually on the survivors side of things.

Because they are? they fixed the maps early 2020 and then just went HAM on killers after that. Nerfs to all their best perks, upcoming killer nerfs like freddy, underwhelming "buffs" for clown and other killers, bugs and server issues that hurt killers getting worse and not fixed, disaster of a launch for the twins, lack of counterplay on the survivor side ignored, survivor perks buffed, new map remakes made stronger for survivors etc etc
The way I see it the game has peaked and they probably have a sequel planned in 2 years or so, so at this point they're content to just make the game more fun for the majority of players (survivors) and milk the game for cosmetics and microtransactions and let it run it's course and resume taking balance serious for the sequel.
