MORI’s as a reward
What if, just like how survivors track down totems, the killer had something to track down. Let’s just say that each survivor “lost” a personal effect in the match, and if the killer happens upon it, and grabs it, then it would trigger a MORI bloodlust scenario, survivor auras within a certain distance would glow, and if the killer manages to grab you, MORI time. Of course it would end immediately after.
second Idea is similar, although it would be more like this, the killer has a shrine, each time he hooks a survivor, it lights a flame, when 3 survivors have been hooked, the MORI is activated, and as in the idea above, like a bloodlust scenario activates. I think in each of these scenarios, it would need a time limit of maybe 90 seconds, but mori offerings could now expand aura reading ability when the MORI is activated, or extend its duration, maybe even a rare offering that allows you a second MORI as long as the time limit is still going.
lastly, during this MORIfication, all gens would be blocked.

The latest mori update tells you pretty clear, there will be less executed. There is no reason to change it again. And that is totally fine.

There is every reason to change it. MORI’s should be fun, exciting, and scary, not just oh crap they brought a mori, let’s all dc.

Fun? Never was, never will. As a feature cool, but it was not used for what it was intended for.
Exciting? Some of them looks good, but thats all.
Scary? Name one thing in Dead by daylight that is scary for you.
With the update, basically it is useless now it is getting barely used. Useless, because entitled killermains can not use it anymore to fill their pleasure gauge.
Moris has been nerfed twice. Expecting that it could have a chance to get a buff, not a logical thread.
If you want the survivors to be afraid of something, you have to give back the main power role for killers.
And that stuff is pretty nasty to do from a day to another.

There is 3 killers that demands the power role. Sprint freddy nurse. There is 3 killers survivors hate the most. Spirit freddy nurse.

What I have been saying for a long time now, we do like mori's, they represent the source material, they are awesome but they have to be fair to a certain extend.
I dont want to equipe items or perks to get access to a mori animation, that is boring af.
Just make it so that when 1 survivor is remaining and all the gens are done, the killer can mori that survivor (no matter the hooks), if you down them they are dead anyway so why not go out with a bang?
basically Cypress mori as basekit but with the extra requirement that all gens must be done for it to be available.

^ This. The Cypress Mori is a terrible offering but as part of regular gameplay it'd be cool.
There also need to be more mori animations. Some of the older ones are very boring, and all animations get stale after a while considering each killer only has the one.

if I was in charge of mori animations I would make some f'd up stuff yo, it would be awesome, but I do agree.
The one that is especially painful to me is the pig mori, that is just about hte dullest thing they could have done given all the source material.

Yeah but beyond blood points or a map offering there’s not really much to use anyways. Mist has been nerfed pretty hard.
I still like moris being tied to an offering. Using one every game would be too much, the only exception is pyramid head since his built in one is so fast.
It’s still kind of humorous that when you offer a mori it’s like saying “I’m paying 6-7k just to ignore your DS/Unbreakable”

Seems much more reasonable, but moris are just like the hatch mechanic, keys, noed; probably the devs will never give up on it. These are factors you might calculate with, but no matter how you play the game, sometimes they will just secure a kill or an escape, no matter what. From the devs side, this provides the illusion about that the game is not either killer or survivor sided.

even as a general mori I would think the whole extending part of the blade could be used to a nastier effect.
ike putting her fist against the side of the survivor's head, forcing the head into the ground with a painful stomp (basically leaning on the fist all the way down), showing the survivor the time is up via some stopwatch she pulls out of her pocket and then extending the blade which shoots out into the survivors skull where we see one of the eyes of the survivors turn away as they lightly spass to death.
(told ya, fd up, but awesome)
