Need Killer Feedback - The classic Facecamp Question.
I play SWF with friends 5 nights a week. Every other Night, at least 1 time a killer will hook someone often around 1 Gen Done and just facecamp that player until the day. I don't mean move around close. I mean stand in front of the hoked person just attacking them until they die.
Every single time this happens, the other 3 finish Gens and get away. The killer gets usually around 8k in bloodpoints or less. the surviving players all get 15 to 18k ish in points. (or more based on perks/etc)
What is the logic of this play. The killer gets so few bloodpoints and just does nothing for the match.. It may happen 1 out of 2 nights to my group, but 90% of the time is is Bubba.
My assumption is they do this because when they face Non SWF, random survivors are too foolish to make bad saves and they all kill themselves and the killer then can hook more? When I play without SWF. I always use Kindred so others can see killers that try this.
If you are the killer, You hook someone around 4 gen, and you stand there, and you here Gen and Gen complete. Why don't you realize no one is coming and try to get points? My SWF can't be the only one that completely trashes these campers with ease?

Just like with SWF survivors, winning isn't always the killers goal.

Sure, I get that players play different based on challenges, etc (we often take builds that will lower our chance to win). I find it hard to believe any strategy involves hook 1 person and then Stand there all game and get the bare minimum number of blood points and literally don't interact with the game.

Three things:
1) Are these ever new killers? Sometimes I've seen new killers who just don't know any better.
2) Assuming it's a killer who knows what he's doing, maybe he perceived you're a SWF and decided to just wreck your game. Or, he's baiting you all to dive bomb the hook.
3) Are any of you toxic? Depending on how fast that first gen went and any gameplay before then, maybe instead of going off and facing a corner he decided this was a more spiteful approach.

Getting a 4k, 12hooks, or losing a pip doesn't matter. The do it because they want to.

You might have played against me at some point 🤔
If I'm playing Bubba it's usually because I want to unlock Dwight's and Jake's faces, and since those characters are easier to find at low ranks I try to either depip (and camping works like a charm for that) or I make sure that the Dwight/Jake dies on hook, the others are free to go, I don't need their faces after all..

Behavior in games is easier to misinterpret than anything else in the world. If he perceived your team as toxic (correct or not) then ruining your game might be his goal. Killer queues are so short, who cares about BP. I can ######### up your fun, end the game and be back in another within a minute.

Mostly it is because far too many survivors still will try and go for the rescue, so the killer doesn't suffer for it. Your team is doing exactly what they should do. If all groups did that, most of the face camping would stop.

For some reason 4 games in a row of this.. These killer scores so bad. I don't understand it.

This occurs so quick in a game, its not like the killer has seen more then 1 person. I mean, we easily finish the game and move one and get more points. So its not a terrible thing. It helps our escape challenges and dailies. It just seems like such a waste. I see this from killers Rank 5 to 15 more often then anywhere else.
Why play a game and then not play the game.

They probably had a bad game and/or were bullied in their previous match and decided to take it out on the next group of survivors.
