Did I get gifted characters?
So after playing a match with twins I saw something weird with killers, I had all of them, yesterday I had blight and oni locked today I got them, felix, jeff and yui unlocked, how come?

That is weird. First time I see something like this in the forums.
Be careful, if your game is bugged and you can use characters you didn't pay for, and you use them, maybe you could get banned.

People ask this question a lot and usually mods give this response so I'm 99% sure this is the reason. You can continue using it as long as you and your friend are using the same copy of the game, but if you ever get your own copy to play together you'll have to buy DLC again.

uff well its all toons that are available trough shards so I doubt I'll buy those DLC's, and I have my own copy of the game with my own DLC's and shard paid characters

So to clarify we both have different games we both bought a copy and he has a few more DLC's than me, am I going to lose the bloodpoints I invested in Oni? and am I going to lose the characters I unlocked now?
I just dont want to farm and play for a long time just to lose it all I'd prefer info up front, I'm still gonna be buying licensed killers like usual but I dont see a point in buying ones I can farm for

Even for games where the save data can be different between accounts with family shared games the actual "copy" of the game is the same.
So yeah, if you stop using your friend's copy with the DLC installed then you will have to start over on Oni and lose any characters/levels/BP/shards you grinded.

I tested it and they gone, when he shared again oni was still leveled so that's good, I can just level the characters and use them then buy them later
