There shouldn't be new killers for at least a year
I think this game needs a break from new content and should focus more on the old one and problems that wasn't fixed since years.
We don't need a new porly programmed killer (twins). We need fixes for the old stuff for example:
-Keys
-Camping and Slugging
-The rest of the infinitys
-The map reworks
-Perks Buffs and Nerfs
-Offering and Bloodweb rework

Although I think year is a bit much, I think they should only make 2 chapters this year instead of 4.
Additionally, I agree with everything that you listed as changes except slugging, aswell as camping to an extent, as camping can make sense in certain situations (endgame collapse and when you know all survivors are going for the save).

I would be okay with that. We already have a huge amount of killers to choose from. Not only would it give BHVR a chance to fix QOL issues and bugs, but it would also allow people to rank up their killers and survivors without having a new set of perks to unlock.

Yeah you're right. But maybe something like the pyramid cages. You stand to long in front of the hook, the survivor gets portet to another position

How about this:
When you get to Level 50 in the Bloodweb, that Character gets acces to the Bloodmarket where they can freely buy any Item/Add-On/Offering/Perk they want

Their top and only priority is to rush out DLC and microtransaction content as fast as possible.
Once they actually went for the EA standard and released a broken killer without parts of her kit intact, intending to patch it later - and most of the survivor/killer perks not actually working when they released it - I lost all respect for the company.

Behaviour has 600 employees. They could add so much content without bugs and balance the game at the same time if they decided to work more than 2 hours a day. But since DBD is a unique game everyone will buy it anyway since there's no competition and no incentive to make changes fast.

And what do i do with all the bloodpoints? 1 Yeah without a possibility to spend them is... a waste.

What's boring me isn't the lack of the new "content," but the lack of fixing already acknowledged issues and bugs that have been in the game for years.

Honestly the game wouldn't survive a year without new killers. The game becomes very stale after a certain point, and a new killer or map every 3 months is really all that keeps many of us here.
It's sad though that we would have to give up content for some time in exchange for a functioning game. That should never be the case in any game.

I think it's a great idea to focus on fixing DbD's problems, but 1 whole year without new content would make the game stale and a lot of people would probably stop playing.

The worst part is that even before Binding of Kin every major content update always brings either a massive amount of bugs, a gamebreaking bug (basement hooks after Oni update for example) or a poorly designed Killer in dire need of rework.
Twins chapter was so bad it made us forget about the other blunders.

Going to be honest as much as I want them to fix bugs if they don't release a new chapter every 3 months I'd probably leave the game.

not a year im sure they could do a ton with just a single chapter or mid chapter update but they focus on other things instead. I personally just want a mid chapter update completely dedicated to perks.
the key rework is coming maybe within the next mid chapter or chapter patch but it will be this year.
as for slugging and camping there is no problem there and there isn't a solution, due to how this game works that is simply a base feature and it really isn't a problem.

Slugging and Camping are delicate situations and would need some tries to get right. I agree upon the rest.

The game would die without new content. Just the fact that there havent been any new realms and the recent killer being a huge disappointment has killed my interest until the next chapter.
