Dear BHVR, about those "last minute" changes,
You guys went out of your way to make a really nice event even better, it was already very good looking and had some interesting experiments in gameplay, but then you found out something that was broken and did your best to fix it and make the event become really fun instead of just an annoying albeit interesting grindfest.
Of course, a lot of players here may want to argue that this even is far from perfect. I agree. But they are taking all the steps towards the right direction, even if they stumble on a rock or two sometimes, and I am very eager to know what DBD will become in the future.
I am so proud of you all that I could proudly wear a tshirt with your logo on it casually. Thanks BHVR.

A +1 to that.
Although these changes should have been implemented from the beginning and the problems foreseen ahead of time, they did a very good job of quickly correcting the issue. Very good work responding quickly!

They only needed to fix it so survivors could still harvest pods when at max vials. There is still no point to playing as survivor in the event at vial cap. Killer queues will be high again in a few days...

I don't really get you on "Killer queues will be high again in a few days" because if a Survivor burns an offering and the Killer uses a hook they will still get the points, no? I mean you get points regardless of who used the event stuff, even if it isn't you doing it.

@tengu No, I believe as it currently stands, survivors who burn offerings only get points whenever a nectar plant is harvested by them or someone else - 4k per plant. Killers get points whenever they hook someone on an active event hook - 5k per hook. Survivors don't get points for hooks, and killers don't get points for plants. However, killers apparently (can't personally confirm since I haven't reached the cap yet) can still get points for hooking once they reach the vial cap, whereas survivors can't get any points after reaching the cap, even if they burn offerings and someone else harvests the plants.

This was such a great announcement. I'd already gotten all my vials for both sides, but this is going to hopefully impact Killer lobby times so that I can get back to playing again! I'm kinda' glad it forced folks who were determined for vials to play both sides for a bit, though, as having to do so for mains on either side was a good learning experience (walk a mile in my shoes, yadda yadda yadda).

@Fibijean you are wrong regarding the survivors bonus points.
When a survivor can't get any more vial, he can't interact with flowers, but will gain BP if someone else finish a flower. HOWEVER, if you can't interact with a flower, this lessens the amount of BP you can gain in a game. Even more if you have multiple survivors "capepd". Did a match before the last change, with 5 offerings. But all 4 survivors had finished their vials... so we got a total of 0 BP.... feels bad.
But yeah, all in all, the event is still more appealing to play as killer because of the BP (and also because it makes the game for them that much more easy, but that's another story)

I agree, it shows they actually listen to the feedback and make changes to help out when needed, the long queue's were the major issue and fixing it before the weekend in my book was the timeline they had to do something and they delivered.
They could do with adding ways for survivor to keep getting vials after they have maxed out as I do think some will start playing killer again for the guaranteed extra bloodpoints but its not as high a priority as the other issues right now like the PS4 bug, with the changes they have already made after feedback I take my hat off to them.
