i hope they don’t make a new cosmetic that can be obtained by every single character though. It was fun in the 4th anniversary but I don’t wanna go through that again for even more chars.
So I would be fine with crowns returning, still have the new chars that have to get them so it wouldn’t be nothing for those that participated in last anniversary.

I would enjoy seeing it. There's only a handful of characters I'd want to make sure I got it for, but it would be nice, even if I only used it to meme around. Even so, I like new stuff and wouldn't mind a new toy to get for them.

I hope so. I would be happy if they just recolour last year's to silver or something and just had an otherwise identical event. It'd be better than, say, the decrease in quality of everything else.

For the 4th anniversary there was an event:
Survivors and killers could obtain a cosmetic (original head with a levitating crown) during matches.
for every char it needed to be done separately, you had to find the crown in a trial and as survivor escape with it.

Well there are crowns in the files for Felix and the like already, so they 99% will be, there'd be no reason for them not to

If they come back for the 5th anniversary I want to know if licensed characters could get them too I mean some of them got their own sweaters so it might be possible.

I sure hope they do, because they were bugged with some licensed characters during most of the event.
I escaped as Tapp with the crown over like 10 times & STILL didn't have it. Definitely pissed me off because he wasn't the only one that was bugged.

because you can't get it on licenced characters at all, you get the crown buff and sparkles but no cosmetic!

they would probably need to change them to take up their own slot instead of being a new head for licencing reasons, which i dont think BHVR would do, even for anniversary crowns

Yeah it's quite silly. I don't know why BHVR didn't make the crowns take up a charm slot (so you could wear them with whatever head you wanted) whilst still appearing like they do now

Still they would only be useable on original Characters then. I am pretty sure that license holders would not be happy if you can wear a Crown on Myers, Freddy, Laurie or whoever. And while those would not be altered cosmetics of the ingame-Skins and rather a separate Slot, I doubt that you could use them together.
(If anything, I can imagine a Crown for the Stranger Things-Characters or Ghostface, because people have been supportive with Cosmetics there)

Hopefully they allow you to obtain the crowns for the characters that were available for the last anniversary as well. Cosmetics that are only obtainable at a certain time of year would be much better than outright exclusives.

Probably. They still make Frosty eyes for every non-licensed Killer, dont they? Dont see why they wouldnt with the crowns as well.
