Any tips for Ghostface against Rank 1
Change my mind, but in my opinion Ghostface is the weakest killer in DBD by far. I can perform with every single killer well, even against strong SWF at rank 1. Ive watched a lot of streamers playing him and Ive also tested many builds. Nothing works for me. I try always to 99, but the survivors always reveal me too fast so that I become a naked M1 Killer :( Only on indoor maps Ive a chance to have a good match. As GF was released I got most of my matches a 4k... now Im happy if I get 1 Kill :'D Any good tips from experienced killers for me? Thx in advance :)

How often do you tbag? As a ghostface, it is extremely important to always be tbagging. Not doing so shows a lack of confidence and allows the survivors to smell fear. If the survivors become aware that you're fearful, well let's just say that the ghost in ghostface will become much more apparent.
Ps. Use the recovery add-ons, They're really good. Also don't stalk when it's unnecessary, it just wastes time and allows the survivors to gain distance. If you're having problems with being exposed then there are add-ons that decrease the detection range.

Was once a ghostface main but here is my take. Play ghostface as more of a hit and run style, dont commit to chases for to long, use grass to help hide yourself, recovery add-ons are a must, remember crouching is a thing and can help hide your detection box more, ALWAYS lean to stalk. And what are the perks your currently running?(apologies if my paragraph was all over the place)

No legion is still weaker yea he can get the first hit so can gf

It may sound crazy from me, but ... I say buy a skin that makes you practically dark, so that they do not reveal you, it has worked for me and the truth is whenever I am close to 32 meters from a generator I bend down and I occupy a lot my environment to hide and stalk. Whenever that sound of revelation rings, duck and hide. Although I dominate it very well, I still lose and win lmao.

I actually agree, I don't think Ghostface is decent at all. Against any kind of competent survivors he is reduced to a powerless M1 killer. That's when his reveal mechanic actually works the way its supposed to.

stealth killers are weak in red ranks dont even bother

Once players get to a certain level, you realize that certain killers are much weaker than you initially thought. Specifically this includes stealth killers, and killers who have no power to help them in chase (different from an m1 killer, but they do overlap). Stealth is simply not an incredibly effective tactic for a killer, as players have perks, as well as just general awareness which allow them to essentially negate the stealth. As for the type of killer I was talking about, think about the difference between a killers like, say, Doc and Wraith. While they are both m1 killers, Doc has an m2 ability which will help him in chase, whereas Wraith does not (his ms boost after uncloaking is only useful at unsafe pallets which you would get a hit at anyways). These killers like Wraith, Legion, Myers, and Ghostface are often very good at getting first hits and against average players that's usually enough to get a down, as most players aren't very good, even at rank 1. However, when you go up against genuinely good survivors who can loop well, you will find that getting a first hit really just isn't enough, and these players can use the fact that you have no power in chase and waste a ton of your time. Sure, Ghostface can expose you, and he can hide his red stain, but as I said before he still needs to hit you to get that insta-down, and good survivors can play around not having a red light. My point is that he's really weak in chase, and really weak in map control (low mobility), overall making him very weak.
As for perks, I would say the #1 option is Sloppy Butcher, as keeping people injured can be useful. After that, any gen regression does well, as well as any chase perks.
Tips:
You can T-Bag to bait out a Dead Hard
Make Sure that if you are stalking, do so at an angle if possible, as you will stalk 2x faster
Try to hide 75% of your body when stalking, this will make it nearly impossible to snap you out of it
Don't over commit to strong players/loops, like I said before, GF is very weak in chase
Stalking during animations is useful, as the player will be still for a short period. Unhooks are great for this, you can get an almost guaranteed exposed state on the rescuer.
Popping Night Shroud while in chase can be effective given that it removes your red light, but it can still be played around so again, don't over commit.

Ghostface is far from the weakest M1 killer IMO. That being said, you have to be good with M1 killer fundamentals because he has next to nothing in a chase.
I tend to use the exposure a lot to great success, but I rarely get run for long. 99 and and ambush or simply expose and chase if they're about to reveal you.
Make sure you're running every tile correctly and know your mindgames. A lot of Ghostfaces I play against rely way too much on turning off their red stain. That means nothing if you're still giving me a fast vault at a jungle gym or if I can see over the rock/hay bale/etc.

Probably my best advice is use perks that are conductive towards you stalking people. Whispers, Discordance, Surveillance, etc. If you are mostly just taking regular hits with ghostface there is very little reason to play him over wraith.
Both are pure M1 but wraith has significantly more mobility with addons and actually has the ability to quickly drop a bad chase.

Best to use Ghosty as a surprise attack. I don't stalk unless there's more than 1 person. If 2 people are together get a good stalk on both. 99% them then go after one of them. Later in the match when you run into the other. Pop your power and insta expose them. They can't reveal you fast enough. Just remember if you 99% someone, if you hit them with an ordinary M1 that resets their stalk. I've chased people and ignored hitting them just for my power to recharge so I could one shot them.
Perks that help with tracking are good for GF. Whispers, discordance, nurse's calling. If you know someone is at a gen pop your power before you get in TR range. Then approach from an angle to get a hit in before they run away. Even if they have spine chill they don't know the direction your coming from.

GF is really fun at lower and mid ranks, but he's so prone to being bullied by clued up survivors and poor map rng. He needs a decent rework imo.
I prefer the hit and run style without wasting time stalking. Hit and recover. Crouching sucks cos you can't see anything that low and standing up let's you get broken out of NS.

Ghost Face is actually a pretty decent killer.
Not only can he perform well as a hit and run killer, but he can be a reliable insta-down killer if you stalk effectively.
Just make sure you use the map to your advantage while stalking. You'll want to learn all the places you can lean and stalk.

First of all thx u all a lot for your answers and advices <3<3<3 You guys encourage me to continue playing with GF :) No one could convince me that GF is NOT the weakest killer in DBD but it doesnt matter. Ill take the challenge :D Ive played DBD more than 4k hours but im still not a 24/7 godlike DBD streamer who 4k's 95% of his matches. And even noob stomping bad survivors in the red ranks doesnt mean the killer is good... And tbh I actually dont care about rank 1 and 4k'ing every match. I just wanna hav fun and a chance to get 1-2 kills in a match. My personal conclusion?
Hit and Run with recovery add ons... yeah, I agree with u. It´s probably the best thing u can do against good and smart survivors. Tbh I dont like this play style, but I think it is the best way to perform well. I will try it out. Im already used to do it with Wraith XD
