How i believe the Devs would do a Resident Evil Chapter?
I think it would be a Combination Of Silent Hill & Stranger Things.
So 1 Killer & 2 Survivor.The Map would be from RE1,the Survivors would be from RE2,& the killer from RE3
The Map would most likely be Spencer's Mansion,Survivors Leon & Claire,& the killer Nemesis
There would most likely be Legendary Skins:Carlos,Jill, Mister X,& Chris

All survivors would be given tank controls and the killer would be forced to yell STARS as they slowly walk around the loop.

WIth 4 characters being arguably the main cast of the entire RE series, I'd say that a lot of people would want legendaries for a chapter like this. It would make sense for them to choose either Chris and Jill or Leon and Claire however whichever one they choose, a big number of people would be disappointed if legendary skins of the two missing characters weren't available.
Edit: Just saw your edit now, can't argue with you wanting legendaries cheaper, they're a bit ridiculously priced as of now.

I'm not too sure if this idea though. It feels off to me that Nemesis would be chasing Leon and Claire around the Spencer mansion, that just doesn't compute in my brain.

Well as I said this is a personal issue. I didn't play much of Silent hill, so that didn't effect me much.
Still though, there is no Nemesis without Jill.

I've always wanted to see Annette or Piers as the survivors, or even Ada. They both died, in lore, and it just seems that they have more charisma. The brave detective role has already been filled by Tapp, and the punch young ingenue is kind of generic, although I would be perfectly receptive to both. We haven't had an obsessive scientist yet, although I guess Bill would be the pragmatic soldier type. Ada would fill the sly and cunning spy role well, but above all, Annette has the best room for lore.

So having no knowledge of RE whatsoever, I heard 3 possible killers frequently mentioned: Nemesis, Mr. X and Tyrant.
Could those work as legendary skins to each other?

They probably could, both Mr X and Nemesis are Tyrants themselves, they were just genetically engineered differently from what I understand.

This is how the dev's should do, the Resident Evil chapter
Map : Spencer Mansion
Killer : Lisa Trevor
Survivor's : Jill+Chris
The reason why Lisa Trevor as the killer , she has the tragic story that attracts The Entity,Lisa and her parents, were were kidnapped by Edward Spencer and while the farther found himself trapped by a secret compartment, Lisa and Jessica, her mother was less than fortunate. They were kept in an underground laboratory beneath the Spencer Mansion,forced into countless experiments which Jessica did not survive, Lisa's body somehow was able to withstand the multitude of virus's giving to her but ,her memory and cognitive thinking begin to deteriorate which is a common sign of infected T virus victim,the only memory remained in Lisa Trevor mind was her mother so for the next 25 years they subjected, Lisa to countless experiments in which Ne a parasite was first injected into her in 1988 which she was able somehow take the parasite and adapt it to her own genetic mutations.This restored Lisa's cognitive function to some degree ,but she was still very dangerous and would kill countless staff members over the years ,because they would pretended to be Jessica and Lisa would show them their not by removing there face,it was decided for her termination ,she did not die ,after the outbreak and the only the monster in the mansion remained Lisa still roamed the hallways and caverns in search of her mother.
Barry+Wesker+Rebecca+Richard should be the first set of legendary skins
Then through the following weeks they could release Leon +Claire+Brad+Carlos as Legendary skin's
That's how, I would do a resident evil chapter. I think that would be a perfect resident evil chapter.
But maybe they'll do a spread and just give us map from 2 killer from 3 survivor's from 1 and legendary skin's
Obviously Leon is going to either be the main character or a skin because him and Claire pretty much carried the series on.
It could be just Resident Evil 4 chapter, but I don't know much about the characters even though I beat Re4 on gamecube.

The killer would be Nemesis, the map would be Racoon City Police Department, and there would be two survivors: Jill and Leon. Claire and Chris would be legendary skins.

Annette would be a very interesting survivor to have. I've always wanted a survivor who is not a goodie-two-shoes. Annette has likely done a lot of horrible things, but not to the point of being a killer. It would also be very ironic if William was the killer.

You people absolutely ridiculous ,if you think Nemesis is the better choice. LIsa Trevor is the original host of the Ne a parasite, unlike Nemesis she destroyed the parasite and adapted it into her biology.
She's very unique and she's not affected by weapons like Nemesis. Also she is the progenitor of the G virus.

Lisa Trevor would be so cool, but I feel like they'd go with Mr. X instead. Though technically speaking Lisa actually has some sense of autonomy compared to other B.O.W.'s
No matter who they pick as a survivor people will complain since it should be 'X Y or Z' instead. There's so many main characters in Resident Evil.
I would want to play Rebecca Chambers, but truthfully I would be very split between her and Heather (Sorry Cheryl.)
They really need to stop doing that, ever since outbreak they're all awful oh my god.

I think it's a no-go for Nemisis, as he'd be ranged, and the devs said they don't want to add any more ranged killers.
Even if they did, it wouldn't make sence for him or Mr. X to even be bother by a pallet. Also, most Tryant are over 7 ft tall. Very big bois, on Lery's, they'd hit there head on the top of the door frames. Unless they went with Big Boi's that are slow and one shot you if you're in melee range. And being immune to stuns.

Exactly, she has her own motives and couldn't be controlled by Umbrella,unlike her BOW counter part's.I feel a person who knows the lore would be able to pick the best killer for the chapter and it's a no brain thought on the survivor's,and now I'm just curious as to who would a resident evil community manger or leader would pick somebody who know's the lore.Is there anybody who's a fan of Remake and 96 what do you think?
a game like resident evil shouldn't be in that deathmatch arena, they'll probably try to tap into that DBD formula

I might skip it ,I'm waiting for the Silent Hill reboot announcement, I've played the resident evils and missed so many opportunities to go back into the Silent Hill series, I could be play Silent Hill one if the PS5 was bkwrds compatible but sony is stingy and doesn't want to spend the necessary money to add bkwrds compatibility .

I absolutely am a fan of the remakes and I was a fan of the originals too. (I even liked Resident Evil 6, though I have to admit it aged terribly.)
Resident Evil 3 Remake did a lot of things right, but the funniest thing to me is that Resident Evil 3 even remade the original complaints. "The game is too short compared to 2!" People said exactly the same thing on the original versions.
It's really hard to say who should be the killer though, you know? It has to be someone with a playstyle adjustable to DBD, some relationship between the Killer and the Survivor would be ideal (Though considering Silent Hill and other purchasable characters it's not really mandatory.) In addition it has to be someone with some level of autonomy even if it's just primal instinct, I can't really imagine the Entity having any way of giving orders to them anyways. (Though the lore can be handwaved in that case if they do go the route of a B.O.W.)
Additionally we have to consider that Resident Evil has one major monster that isn't a big bad enemy guy. The zombies themselves. There are tons of different zombies with different origins and different attack patterns.
Actually the more I think about it the more I think it would be fun to play with the concept of having less direct interaction with the players. Maybe in a similar way to how that terrible multiplayer game 'Resistance' was. Throw some zombies in there, have you overlord zombie spawns and just make chaos. (Maybe like with the twins only one can actually hook, or maybe none of the zombies can actually down completely. Just apply map pressure and injure or stun.) It may be too frustrating though. It would add a new unique playstyle to incorporate the general flow of Resident Evil games. Zombies and their controllers.
Actually DBD doesn't have any AI at all does it? So the zombie idea is out.
Could have a big ugly tentacle monster trying to infect people. Meat just spawns similar to the entity portals and like Freddy or the Pig you suddenly have to cure yourself before getting downed as a survivor.. Could be zombie status affects to inflict blindness, exposed or broken. (Addons can change the base virus being used. From the Ooze, T Virus, Las Plagas, et cetera.)
Wesker would be fun to play as but he has a gun which I don't think it's a good idea to just have Wesker waste an entire dude.
We'd have to consider that in most Resident Evil games these protagonists are seasoned pros even before the zombie outbreak. Wheras in DBD we're often playing just normal people. In the Resident Evil games the enemies are designed to match their power level. Most people in the Resident Evil universe just die.
I could see Mr. X being a slower M1 Killer that can just break things like doors, pallets etc. in zero seconds flat.
I have to say Lisa Trevor would be really cool, I'm all for that idea.

George Trevor became a Crimson Head zombie pretty much the boss of Crimson Heads.I definitely get how cool it could be to see a horde of zombies chasing survivor's, but I think it's too much for a resident evil chapter, something like that could be a Night of The Living Dead,TWD,Dawn of The Dead,chapter
With the RE chapter you want an recognizable and fan favorite killer,but you also want someone who fits in the game to .Now as I write this what makes the aspect of the chapter complicated, who knows how Silent Hill fans would have reacted to a monster other than PH, but pyramid head is the perfect fit, if we look at the series 1-4 the boss is a flying creature and DBD says their not doing flying creature's, probably not now
Part 2 only has Pyramid Head as the main antagonist and there are no other humanoid creatures with the mobility of Pyramid Head and or we have a Nurse and then people be like why didn't y'all just get Pyramid Head
Part 3 the only Humanoid creatures are Valtiel and Leonard Wolf, but Wolf is basically a giant,he's at least 10 ft tall survivor's wouldn't be able to hide,and Valtiel is the servant of God and probably has no time for DBD lel
Part 4 Walter Sullivan is to human,and kind of unrecognizable outside of silent hill fans circle.
I'm not sure what's my point at this moment, I guess I just hope they considered all possibilities.
