With -that- new HUD, arguments against a proper colorblindmode are void
Knowing the devs it's unfortunately unlikely they'll can the idea of the 'new' HUD and will push it through despite it being the 'graphicdesign is my passion' meme made flesh.
So, if that will be a thing (likely) how is the argument against a proper colourblind mode still 'it wouldn't fit with the feel/aesthetics/etc'.
Because that new HUD is... cheap and unfitting, so there's no arguments against replacing different coloured auras with visually different effects.

I mean, I "may" accept characters' 3D portrait. IF their portraits also tell the status (Meg normal face for healthy, Meg bleeding for injured, Meg on ground for dying...ect).
The portrait is SO POINTLESS when a player put into dying stage, mean you're no more see the portrait.
Currently the new HUD is so messed up, they just reuse what they're already have, and place around.

It’s awkward but the hook counter and portraits are great ideas that could be incorporated into the base hud

They said there will be more features added in. We dont know what they are.
Though the biggest annoying thing is the portraits with Red glow telling injured. Really hard to see.

All arguments regarding a colorblind mode benefiting non- colorblind players are nonsense. If you are meant to see something, you should be meant to see it, even if someone else can see it "better".

Oh so now because some scummy people would abuse a colourblind mode, people who are actually colour blind arent allowed to see blood or track scratch Mark's properly, or even tell when their team mate is injured?
Fucking bullshit, you'd probably be one of the people abusing the colourblind mode

Go grow some braincells
Sorry (not sorry) that I'm annoyed (as a colourblind person), that you think that the minority of people who'd abuse colourblind settings are more important to combat than adding accessibility to the game, so, shut the ######### up.

I don't actually know why your yelling at me lol I'm for them putting colour blind option in for colour blind people. If it helps you as you said your colourblind then I hope you get the option.

Because your acting like scummy accessibility abusers should be thought of before the people the accessibility is actually for
And thanks

Well the comment I wrote on, I thought was saying something bad towards having the system, I must have read something wrong. So why my comment probably looks bad. Opps👀 -trys to find my brain cells- but honestly I'm all for them helping the players with accessibility they need.

Try to keep the toxicity in- game, Thanks.

Well, because it should? OF Course they have to think of it being abused before they implement it.
Also, there is a difference between "should be seen" and "should kind-of vague be seen, but not clearly".

They said the new HUD will allow them to do more things in the future that they can't currently do. Maybe adding color blind mode is one of those things.

I don't understand how they can so blatantly ignore such a vocal community by adjusting something on the HUD they could use to one that is now useless. If it's built from scratch like they claim it would've made sense to have it accommodate colorblind community now so they would not need to spend time later adjusting it.

Lmaoo sorry about the misunderstanding

Oh wow, what's it gonna do, make the blood and hud highlights a different colour, how criminal. It would hardly be abusable, maybe on maps with certain tints but the benefit is minuscule at best ://

The New HUD makes it harder for non-colorblind people to tell apart the survivor states already because it's not longer stylized but a color effect (not to mention the HUD design is so counterproductive concerning providing information to the player) ...
EDIT: well... just saw some stuff on the dbdleaks twitters... mhnnn... guess it's a time of wonders and miracles...

And it would be nice to finally see some scratch marks...
Now i am thrilled ^^
