Deathslinger perk buffs

Right now Slinger has the worst teachable perks ever in DBD so here’s my buffs to his 3 perks

Gearhead=After hitting a survivor 2 times, Gearhead activates for 35/40/45 seconds. During that time any generator being worked on will be revealed by a yellow aura as long as it’s being worked on. If someone gets off the Gen it turns red but if someone starts repairing a Gen during the duration it will glow yellow.

Dead mans switch=You become obsessed with one survivor 

After hooking the obsession the perk activates 

for the next 45 seconds any generators above 50/40/30% regression are blocked by the entity for the duration. If a survivor repairs a Gen while dead mans switch is activated and it hits over 30% then it will get blocked instantly. When the obsession gets unhooked the rescuer becomes the obsession.

Hex:Retribution=Any survivor who cleanses a dull totem will have there aura revealed for 5 seconds and suffer from the oblivious effect for 45 seconds. When a hex totem is cleansed including this one all survivors auras are shown for 15/20/25 seconds.

    Gear head would probably be too strong. You could reduce duration to 30 and it would be fine

    In a totem build i think retribution is actually really good but thats just me.

    honestly, i think all 3 of those are too strong.

    Gear Head should just have its nerf be reverted (its active for 45 seconds and reveals any gen a survivor performs a skillcheck on).

    Dead Mans Switch should just block a gen for 45 seconds as soon as it gets triggered, instead of blocking it for the reminder of the 45 seconds that start as soon as someone gets hooked (and blocked gens should regress at the normal regression rate - Blood Pact could specificaly say otherwise ofc).

    Hex: Retribution imo is perfectly fine the way it is right now.


    your ideas just seem a little over the top to me.

    Gear Head shouldnt just give you that much information for free for such a long duration. having it bound to skillchecks makes it so you dont get the info immediately, which makes it a lot better, as you cant just hit someone twice and instantly know everyone elses location.

    Dead Mans Switch just sounds incredibly boring to go up against. i mean, each time you hook your always changing obsession the game just gets to a stand still because any gen anyone was trying to do gets instantly blocked. that would be way too good of a slow down perk - and would remove the whole "making a choice" aspect the perk currently has.

    Retribution imho doesnt need a buff. a 10 second aura reveal is already very strong, 25 seconds is just nuts, honestly. i also dont think an aura reveal on people who cleansed dull totems is needed at all.
