Players being toxic in the end game chat should be banned from using the end game chat
I've been thinking about this for a few days now. I think this would keep people from being ######### in the chat, and if they do, they can't use the chat temporarily. Banning players from playing the game isn't a good idea because the player base will drop heavily, so I think this should be introduced.

Yesterday I had a player tell me to kill myself. I said WHOOPS gotta report ya now and they just laughed and said "GO AHEAD" so that tells ya how useful the reporting feature is (even with screen caps or videos).

You can disable the endgame chat. I actually like seeing the toxicity now. It bothered me a lot in the beginning, but now I just imagine them to be children like this spoiled brat who never got properly disciplined and will be miserable late into their adulthood:

You can disable the chat yourself can’t you. I’m on Xbox so I just turn messages to friends only

I used to get really offended when I first started playing killer. I was a total noob and would camp with wraith thinking I was clever. The salt I got in chat was enough to cover the state of Texas. People were cursing me, wishing me to die, my loved ones to get cancer and/or covid, whatever nasty things they can think of. It hurt because I was bullied for most of my childhood (I'm an old fart now), and it just brought back bad memories and I realized that these people don't know me, they're just mad they lost. They're like my 4 year old nephew who goes crazy when I don't let him play games on my phone.
Also, I was taught that when people curse others, if the person they're cursing doesn't deserve it, it goes back to the curse giver. So now I just picture these turds looking in the mirror and cursing themselves out.

Or the devs could make it so that the chat is for decent people instead of telling them that it's their responsibility to avoid it, this kind of BS is why the chat isn't on consoles, because unlike the devs the companies who own those care about making sure people aren't being threatened with ######### ect,

Reporting is almost pointless. I sent in a report and then a ticket with screenshots of the guy using racial slurs, telling people to get cancer and die, and more things about our mothers. I asked in the ticket for them to let me know when they were going to take action. Which they did, over a month later.

Tbf this happens in any game I’ve played I’d rather they have a report system that actually does something

I used to play League of Legends and I had some toxic buddies I'd play with sometimes. They'd get chat locked and it wouldn't matter. They go straight back to the toxicity as soon as they can. Imo these type of players don't regret their actions or have any intention of changing. It is well worth banning them even if it means a smaller player-base.

There is a button to close the chat. Press it and go on.

There is a brain that allows people to think before they type, use it and go on
