SWF is a Cheat System
so basically im a rank 16 killer and almost get a match with swf that have various rank. like red rank, purple and they have one player with yellow rank that intentionally on purpose, so they can bullied and get killer with yellow rank too. Do BHVR consider bug and this unfair matchmaking. Thank you

That happens to me too or sometimes it's all purple and red ranks. I really feel bad for the gray ranks that get matched when I play with others and our ranks are green purple and yellow.

This has nothing to do with SWF, this also happens when Solos play with each other or to other SWFs who are not "mismatching" Ranks. E.g. two days ago, my friend and myself (both Rank 1) were matched with another SWF of Rank 12 and Rank 17 (Rank 17 had 9 hours in total) against a Rank 10 Killer. You can explain with SWF why the Rank 17 was matched with the Rank 10, but now how my friend and I got into this match.
I see that quite often, it is something with the Matchmaker. If I had to guess, I would say that the Matchmaker throws something together if at least 1 player is waiting for a longer time.

no .it happens 1game out of 10 . all you want is EZ game . hope MMR coming soon will even the matchmaking dont forget if ppl cant play with friends = dead game .

It’s definitely not considered a cheat, since even in SWF they can’t really determine which rank their opponent is. I recently introduced 2 friends to the game, played on my Switch (where I am rank 20 and waiting for cross progression) and played with one red rank friend; we often got red rank killer that destroyed us.
Matchmaking is busted right now. Hopefully MMR will even things out. But it probably will never be perfect as that is literally impossible. Especially with SWF and greatly differing skill levels.

Yeah, not a swf issue. This is MM. New MMR is coming soon.

As others have told you, this is not the fault of the legendary DBD boogeyman, SWF. This can literally happen with an entire lobby of solos, or any other combination of partial pre mades. I often play duo queue with my boyfriend (both of us red rank) and a decent amount of time we get matched with greens and sometimes yellows as teammates and killers.

well how do you know each time you get red/purple rank its SWF?
thats my soloQ game, and its not rare for me to get into R17 lobby right after R1
so according to your knowledge im playing soloQ to bypass rank system?
nah mate, Matchmaker doesnt works and until MMR system (all it does is hiding ranks, imo) you will see rainbow

I'm red rank. When I'm solo I get paired with yellow/brown survivors against yellow/brown killers every few matches. When I play swf with my brother he is purple, we get matched with yellow/brown survivors against yellow/brown killers every few matches.
It's not swf, it's just matchmaking.

I used to think it was swf too and since I stopped playing killer and focused on solo survivor the mm is abysmal. I get matched with rainbow ranks constantly at night.
during the day it’s far more even.

Sooo...you go up against survivors better than you but its instantly swf?
....lmfao

Legit sick of people saying swf cheat when one is lower rank than the rest or one is higher than the rest.
Friends just want to play together. Maybe one is new to the game. Maybe one has been around longer.
Most of the time these people want to goof off and have fun together, they're not out to ruin games for killer's. If anything, they get sweat on just for being friends no matter their play style, because killers tend to check profiles in the pregame lobby and decide then that because they're friends they don't deserve a good time.
Sometimes these friends aren't using comms. Sometimes they were coincidentally matched in a lobby. Sometimes it's people who legit just met the last game and enjoyed their teammate enough to invite them to another game.
I've even been accused of being in a sweaty swf squad AS A SOLO Q on quite a few occasions.
I honestly believe that even if SWF was gone from the game without a killer knowing, they'd still blame their losses on SWF and treat the solos just as horribly as if they were SWFing.

SWF is cheating as it is not playing the game as intended or designed. That's it. You can just admit you like cheating its ok

not playing the game as intended or designed
If SWF was not designed then please enlighten me as to why it exists within the game in the form that it does?

Doesn't have voice chat. Being in a coordinated group with people that know what they are doing is one thing, Voice coms is another. Don't pretend you don't see the difference.
3 -
I do see the difference. That's not what you said.
SWF is cheating as it is not playing the game as intended or designed. That's it. You can just admit you like cheating its ok
SWF is not cheating. It is in the game and designed into the game. The feature has been in the game since almost the beginning.
Playing on voice-communications is not what you said.

Believe me, once you start diving into the hellscape that is matchmaking, you're going to be seeing more rainbows than a gay pride parade, SWF or not.
Even then, ranks don't really mean anything for skill. I'm a rank 1 survivor and I can guarantee you that I, without equivocation or qualification, massively suck. Hopefully, MMR will fix this, but we all know how that dealt with the intricacies of skill and aptitude.

Ah so you agree. Cool cool

The devs said SWF was intended for launch but was not ready, and was added once it was. As far as comms go, they have a discord just for people to meet up and play the game, thus encouraging SWF.
2 -
That's a good point. I've never seen them state it but having a discord is pretty official.
2 -
When killers losing, it's always SWF.
Cheaters! Hackers!

Do you honestly think using voice comms is something the devs didn’t intend? This game wasn’t made in the 90’s and the devs knew voice comms would be used and if you think otherwise then you’re a bit of a special case. If it was cheating it would be in the rules.

yes

I agree. I think the devs did know people would be using voice comms, but they don't balance the game against it. OoO is fine without comms... broke as hell with them. Blindness is decent without comms... 100% useless with them. If perks, add ons, etc. took comms into account, most people wouldn't be complaining about their use.
