If console players had chat available...
How would they use it?
Really, they don't have keyboard and use the gamepads to slowly type symbols, which is not practical at all.

Considering when I played on Xbox for a few months (before the frame rate drove me back to PC), people would absolutely sit there and type out super long salty messages when they lost, yes I would think so.

You can hook a keyboard up to a console. They also sell their own brand ones.

You would be surprised at how fast some people can type with a controller i cant but i have friends who totally can. Its like in the olden days of text messaging when you had to type out messages using the 0-9 dialpad on a phone if you are used to it. Plus you can hook up a keybord as well if you want.

Back when I played in 2017 on console, people would just use the Xbox app on their phone and send messages. You could communicate pretty fast with each other.

A lot of console players are used to typing using a controller. My sis is a console player and she has a keyboard attached to her PS4 so there’s also that. I just want them to either add chat for console players or to at least let us see their loadout pregame.

I guarantee I can type out a full paragraph grammatically correct and all in couple minutes or less with a controller

Pfft! They should just remove chat altogether. I turn it off about 50% of the time anyway. Most is just salty ######### talking anyway.

You are correct, I do have the option. I'm saying that option isn't worth having in this game. Honestly...seriously....most post game chat is one of these 2 things...

i am one of these people, i can easily type without stopping even with the delay.
the trade of though is not really prof reading what you type and it takes way to long to look back and forth using rb and lb, i wish they made it so you could see your entire message.

Honestly alot of games have a button you click on and it brings up a chat box to type, it's not had but its be nice to chat and say gg etc.

Hey if people want a chat function then no harm in having one, just the option to turn i toff has to be there too.
As even when you give a GG a return GG is about 50/50 with abuse tantrums.
Personally I keep that ######### turned off, not because it upsets me but because its just not worth my time.

I guess to each there own. I'd be happy to give you my chat if possible. Wide world of colorful slurs out there to experience. Well...unless you only play survivor. I've never seen a killer throw a tantrum like the survivors do. In fact I've never seen a killer say anything more than gg.
