I guess mobility killer since we got Blight Boy. I'd be fine with another agressive killer. But would prefer another defensive killer. Since all we got is Trapper, Hag, and Freddy depending on your playstyle. But we've already got a lot of mobility and agressive killers.

To the killers at a distance (especially Huntress).

Killers that rely on slugging to win( I know all killers can but oni and twins literally need to to win)

Killers that create a ridiculous slowdown like Freddy can.

    Ranged killers.

A killer with chase power that is not stealthy, is not ranged and is not mobile? The only one in my mind that fits that description in the game is Doctor and maybe Clown, I wish they added more like them.

No more killers with camp, tunnel, or range potential. But that's way too much to ask for these devs.

I want more killers like Doctor honestly. Killers that can shut down loops if they time their power right.

I do not want more mobility killers since there's too many of them and they usually play vary similar to each other. And no more insta down killers.

I don't personally mind more stealth or ranged killers.

I also like this I said stealth killers because of the scare potential but this is also good

No more Killers that ignore map features.

  • FFirebrandd

No more Killers who's power is just... "Here's an insta down". The most obvious examples of this are Bubba and Hillbilly, but I would throw Oni, Ghost Face, and a Myers played "normally" in that bucket as well. Powers like that are just... not interesting or at least not to me.

Honestly, we have enough of pretty much everything. There are already many instadowns in the game, both coming from perks/add-ons or built into killer powers. No more. No more killers that do not have proper counterplay or that need perks to be countered, like Spirit. And no more spam-friendly killers like Clown, Freddy, Deathslinger or instasaw Billy.

On the other hand, as far as killer like Nurse can be godly in the proper hands, which are not so many, I find her to at least be engaging to face. Avoiding a hit against a Nurse, because I know how to move, gives me some form of satisfaction.

Any of the existing ones basically.

BHVR needs to come up with ways to drastically alter the typical gameplay. For Killers, this is usually the "see survivor, chase survivor" stuff, and Survivors, it's "see Killer, loop Killer" - it's boring. Sadly, they can't do another gamemode because the game is 4 years old and splitting up the playerbase at this stage will just make queue times even longer than they already are [for Survivor]. So, that just leaves altering the gameplay by introducing Killers with exciting and different Powers that'll force the Survivors to alter their strategies.

I came up with two new Killers (one licensed, and one original) that aim to do this. Their Powers will probably come across as quite OP on the surface but I think, as a starting point for new ideas, they can be tuned to be workable and fair, while still forcing Survivors to have to play differently.

Here they are if you'd like to see them (they're quite detailed):

Not really Oni, he has to if he wants to use his power efficiently but he can honestly do fine without slugging.

Something scary. Something that can attack from surprising angles and locations. Maybe leap off objects or walls or cling to them or something. Crawling around in the corn.

Killers that are just reincarnations of other killers. I'd love to see more Unique killers like the Twins or even Freddy when he was first released(although he was underpowered)

Examples: Slinger is just Legion and Huntress put together.

Freddy's rework turned him in to a killer that had better traps then Trapper and the ability to cross the map like a nurse in less time.

Oni Is a yes man's hillbilly

And then there's range based killers.

Dont get me wrong. These killers are still fun to play, however if the game boiled down to just Traps/Run Very Fast/And Random BS go then it would kind of suck

i dont like killers that are entirely brainless to play.

a Freddy spamming snares around a loop or a Pyramid Head faking his Punishment of the Damned at every window / pallet is definitely the most boring experience one can have in this game imo.

also, when a killer has so many slowdowns that the game basically comes to a standstill with little to no input on their part - that is extremely boring and i truly hope they will never make that mistake they did with Freddy and his slowdown Add Ons ever again.

Killers that I don't want more of?

Probably killers with powers that promote camping. *cough cough the twins*

  • Huge_Bush

No more stealth killers. We have enough.

    Also, no more insta-down killers.

  • I would rather make non viable killers half decent. I would give up a new DLC chapter if it meant like Trapper and Wraith got actual genuine passovers; not one tiny buff after like a year without anything.

I don't want any more killers that are unfairly strong in a chase but have zero mobility. That's not balance, that's misery, just like facecamping.

    Killers like Hag and Twins.

I want more tactical and strategic killers that force survivors to slow down and be cautious. With that said, counters to them should not be part of the power itself; example: running through all of hag's traps erasing what little time the killer had to devote to setup.

    "Killer Power on cooldown" Killers.

I just really dislike not being able to use what makes that Killer different.

"They're power is they're fast" killers. They lack play style variety like pig, oni, and the twins.

Unintimidating killers. Blight and Twins aren't that threatening or intimidating. Would like a few more like Oni tbh.

Campy / Impossible to escape killers.

I’m lumping these two together because there is a bit of a blend of these two. For example, no more hag like killers that throw down something under a hook, and then when someone tries to unhook, not only do they instantly know, but they’re instantly there. Also no trapper, where if you get trapped it’s basically impossible to escape.

  • ALostPuppy
    ALostPuppy Member Posts: 3,398

Oni's power literally is "go fast and slam people" though? And I'd argue killers like Blight and Billy have WAY more variety and different styles of play than Pig and The Twins. Eg with Billy you have lopro chains, double engravings, double turn speed, or just plain old Billy, all of these require you to play pretty differently, or rather they let you play differently. Blight has speed, turning, and tech with his flick that adds a layer of mechanical depth to the killer, something which every other killer lacks. Can't think of anything that The Twins have other than "slug and camp lol", and Pig is just "play killer but this time with a slowdown ability that's reliant on RNG"

Any killer that doesn't rely on survivor MISTAKES. (IE... Nurse & Spirit)
