Killers who refuse to break pallets (especially safe ones)
Make me wanna commit a war crime like we get it you suck and rely on bloodlust but this is getting annoying

They're just trying to get their exercise in! Leave them alone!

So, like, why do you feel the need to make a thread to insult them? Why not give them advice on what they're supposed to do instead?

Oh nooo a survivor doesn't like something a killer does? They get upset if you break pallets to end a given loop, and upset when you don't! Shocking!

Bruh why you complaing if the killer doesn't break the safe pallets that's in your favour not even bloodlust at that point will help them

If you ever get a killer who refuses to break a safe pallet and somehow never catches up, keeping you there until the last gen pops (and then leaving you to open the gate), that's me. Hi!
7 -
It takes longer to down you via bloodlust then just breaking the pallet
4 -
I rarely see killers do this. Unless of course you're last survivor left and the killer is trying to stop you from the reaching the hatch.

Plenty of pallets are not worth breaking immediately especially if the survivor runs away from the pallet immediately after throwing it down.
This is a weird thing to get upset over.

Ya know, I sometimes do this just to see if I can mindgame shack pallet after it's thrown down.
If the Survivors fall for it, I don't need to try. It's like an intelligence check.

I had a killer try and mind game the god pallet when it was down for ages and it was honestly just hilarious. Sorry man but even bloodlust 3 isn't going to get you a hit. You have to know when to just break the pallet.

You don't need to kick any pallets as clown if you know what you are doing.

That settles it, remove bloodlust from the game.

LOL are you implying I am OBLIGATED to break your pallet?
I will. On my own time. I have no problem breaking a pallet right after I down you and make you eat dirt.
5 -
Nah, I just do it for fun.
If they fall for it, then I know I'm dealing with some truly ascended gamers, so I don't need to sweat.

Hahaha imagine having to break pallets

Do you even lift (pallets) bro?

I mean it's certainly good for finding out if you are but I'd just be worried that if you are going against some real gamers by the time you realise they're not you've lost a couple of gens finding out.

How can I lose 2 gens on a 5 second mindgame lmao
0 -
Most of they're trying to mind game a pallet like that are going to try a few times which would result in losing around 20 seconds which can make a big difference if the other survivors are efficient on gens.

I just fake vault the window and if they slide over the pallet I can get them.

Fair enough just trying to be nice and offer advise

Ok, but if they are on a safe tile you should not be able to get hit unless you seriously misplay.
1 -
Just to clarify, are we strictly talking about killers who just don't even mindgame and bloodlust people down? Because recently I've been accused of bloodlusting people... Even though I don't have bloodlust and just actually and successfully played the tile. Which, given the amount of hits I get at jungle gyms, is a bit embarrassing.

I appreciate it.

If you ever get a drunk nurse using bam(booze)le and kicking pallets...that's probably me 😂😂😂😂😂
2 -
lmao I've done that too! 🤣🤣🤣 (Well, not drunk, unfortunately. but the rest of it.)

So your suggestion is what? Break it so you can continue to control the action. Nope. I'll just trap em or wait for you to try and use them then get grabbed.
0 -
No one gets upset if a killer breakers a safe pallet. I expect that as survivor. I'll try to mindgame it if they seem panicky but if I fail once I'll just zone them to the bad side and break it. That way I don't have to make up as much distance.

Hm... Not many pallets are safe against Doc. Especially not the so called god pallet. (Drey tech incoming)

Breaking safe pallets is the fastest option unless you're trapper. Then trapping it the second they put it down (otz tech) or faking it so they leave the loop is the best course of action. If they continue to loop after you trap it it's a free down. If they don't that loop is unusable and they are forced to leave. There are lots you can do. The right decision lies in the killer and the situation.

There is nothing wrong with brute forcing a "safe" full visibility pallet where no mindgame is possible to begin with, if you know you are getting a big payoff out of it. Typically if the survivor you are Bloodlusting is on death hook.

Still a waste of time if you ask me. Some anti loop killers may be able to deal with it better but killers like ghostface, plague without her power, michael, billy (depending on the loop tho honestly you should just saw the pallet anyway),etc need to break the pallet or spend the next 30 seconds bloodlusting which imo is boring as hell.

You should be grateful bad killers like that exist and practically give you the W

If i see you run away after dropping ANY pallet, why should i break it? The only pallets i'll break instantly are god-pallets.

Better "waste" 30 second to secure a kill than break the pallet giving the survivor a chance to find another safe pallet, and another one, and another one, etc... And this is not a common scenario. You don't want to do it most of the time.
Safe loops are boring by design. Once the pallet is dropped you either have to break it or Bloodlust around it if the loop is short enough to do that. If you don't have a power that can help in loops thoses are your only 2 options and one of them is not always available.

Honestly i'd rather them not break it, makes for fun mindgames and imo as survivor it's better

Not as bad when I used nurses calling and sloppy on plague.... yikes

That's why you have to manage your time. Gen pressure is always more important than a down especially late game. If a survivor knows what their doing and you can't do anything at safe pallets then break it and get it out of the game and move on. Go after someone else. 30 seconds is almost half a gen and if three people are working on gens you'll have 1 to 2 gens pop by the time you get in your next chase. That's not ideal. Better to get a hit and make them heal and break the pallet. Then pressure gens. Easier on high mobility killers but you still can manage your time we'll regardless of the killer.
