Why is Hex: Blood favor a Hex Perk?
I have tried making this perk work but it isn’t even worth a perk slot. Every time I use it, I only get use of it about 1 time, that’s if I find a survivor early on. Either loose the Hex part of it or the Cooldown. 40 seconds, really? So garbage tbh.

I forgot that perk even existed, last time I saw it was when it first came out. It is not worth running at all

The reason it’s a hex perk is because Blight came with Undying and they needed another hex perk to show off undyings power so Blood favor was born

What does it do again?

Likely because they wanted the blight to have a perk that works with undying for the sake of his adept.
But honestly the cooldown could be removed and make it work like bamboozle where if you trigger the effect again before the previous effect wears off it'll unblock the previously blocked pallets and block new pallets. It still wouldn't be good, but it'll have uses against pallet saves.

While they nerfed Undying they could have buff that perk...

After hitting a survivor, pallets within 16m are blocked for 30sec. It has on 40sec cooldown.
On topic, I've tried using this perk with STBFL and bamboozled for windows, but it honestly isn't worth it. I can handle the cooldown, but the 16m radius is WAY too small.

i was expecting them to revisit Blights chapter and buff Dragons grip, Blood favor, Visionary and Built to last while nerfing Undying. I’m shocked they didn’t do that plan

Hah yep. Undying was the real show-stopper. Blood Favor seems like it was a complete afterthought. Sad part is they could easily fix it with some number tweaks.

I never saw the perk on a killer when I play survivor. I can definitely see why now.

A good question that all the community has been wanting an answer to.
Funnily enough it's so bad that I wonder if people would run it even if it wasn't a hex perk. It's that terrible.

IMO, give a token each time it activates and increase the range by 8 meters for each token.
