What's the silliest thing you've done to complete a challenge?

I had a challenge as Wraith to ring the bell within 5 meters of every survivor and I just chased every one of them screaming like a banshee clanging my bell all game. When the survivors discovered I wasn't attacking them, they just started running around me in circles.

Also I had to break 4 pallets with Spirit running one of her perks. I legit chased a Nancy for two whole minutes in that damn swamp map and she never ran across a pallet. So I just stood at a pallet shaking my mouse until someone came and dropped it. Then they followed me and dropped the other pallets that I needed.

good times.

There was a locker grab challenge some time back. So I'd hit lockers and try to get downed survivors to go inside them. Eventually a Jake got the message, and he helped me out. Shout out to the Jake! (And all players who are willing to help people actually complete some of these dumb challenges. Not all of us are gods at the game.) I've helped a few people in my day. Including letting people with No Mither go, cleansing a killer's Haunted Grounds, and letting a Billy chainsaw me about 6 times (he was nice enough to let me go)

Take two protection hits as david in one match - i'd only gotten one, the gate was open, the spirit was carrying the other remaining survivor to a hook nearby, and it was already revealed that she had noed.

The other survivor was streaming so I got to watch his reaction after as I threw myself in front of them

Definitely that Dwight the brave challenge; I acted like such a stalker hiding behind everything while trying to count if I hid long enough and close enough. It figures I got killed loads of times until encountering a friendly wraith that helped me out. I even tried hiding behind a facecamper but I wasn't stealthy enough... I got so much salt for my stupid actions from my team.

My swf teammate and I would purposely get ourselves hooked during EGC so the other could get unhook during EGC challenges done.

All the killer challenges with killers I don't enjoy playing that didn't require killing I basically would stand in spot hoping survivors would catch on. As Wraith for ring bell near survivors I'd walk over, ring bell, then walk away. Hillbilly I would find hill and just run around it with my chainsaw until survivors would come up and stand in front of me. Huntress I would stand back throwing hatchets from far away at gen they were working on and hope it was far enough when I'd hit survivor on gen - they ended up just holding still for me until I got the needed hits in.

When rift is open I try to pay attention to what the opposite sides challenges are so I can help them out. Had a Spirit that was slashing wanting someone to follow her and cleanse her haunted grounds so she could down them. I had multiple pallet stun in one match so after she downed me she let me stun her with the needed amount of pallets.

I feel like an idiot doing those “fall from a great height twice” ones, particularly on maps when there is literally only one spot to jump from. It basically entails getting the killer’s attention and leading him to that spot. And if he downs me, doing the same exact thing a second time. I’ve often wondered what was going through the killer’s head when I pull that stupid maneuver that didn’t even work the first time from his point of view.

I've had killers shake their head no at me when I've done same thing. Pretty sure they think I don't know how to loop but really I just want the stupid fall in a chase. 😂

Oh yeah, Dwight the brave :D

Huntress was chasing a Claudette on top of the Grim Pantry and I was following underneath them. Whenever she tried to leave, I went upstairs, made noises, and proceeded to follow her steps underneath again. She was annoyed for not finding what was causing that, the team was annoyed for playing a 3v1 and I was having a blast.
