Deadharding trapper trap
Why is this bad mechanic in the game? Meticulously place traps around the map and then some prick dead hards through it. Nice gameplay

It doesn't make a whole lot sense either tbh; but I don't have too much of a problem with it. My issues are with the fact they are so visible in the first place; and things like OoO that literally just turn you into a boring M1 killer with no power.
There is a long list of things to do with trapper that would make him a much more fun experience; but I wouldn't hold your breath...it took years just to be able to reset traps on the ground; and they are only finally doing something slightly about his nonsense RNG mechanics.

I agree. This interaction is dumb. Deadhard's highly questionable ability to deny killer's hits because the survivor pressed "e" is only exacerbated in Trapper's case since you can't even counter the Dead Hard by waiting for the survivor to use it like you can with Nurse, Blight, Huntress, or any other killer with fast attacks.
Your power is straight up turned against you because the survivor equipped a certain perk and it makes playing Trapper even more of a chore than it already is.
I really think you shouldn't be able to Dead Hard over traps.

I don't think visibility is an issue as they usually get caught in obvious traps, I've only had one game where someone cleansed ruin over the trap then taunted me by going in a trap minefield I set in grass on swamp that was literally in grass and impossible to see... usually every other game everyone gets snapped at least once, only the amount of traps is the issue gotta always run bag addon
ive only seen DH over trap a few times, better focus on fixing DS first, any interaction other than healing=deactivate

DH should not have i-frames.

Unless you place it in a corridor where you can't walk around it, it is easily countered by simply inverting the direction of the loop.
