Gen exploding when approached

More and more frequently my and many other characters start doing the animation as if the gen just exploded when i start repairing it. It doesn´t make a sound for me but it gives the killer a sound and visual notification.

It occours every 2-3 games.

I do not know how to recreate it. Might need influence from the killer side.

Update: This site allows no mp4 files. Also no gifs larger than 50mb. So i cant send in the video.

    I'm pretty sure it's a feature, and I always feel like a complete idiot when encountering it cause I still got zero clue regarding what causes this weird interaction.

    Perhaps it's part of updated gen repair animations introduced several montha ago, but I'm not sure.

    The gen doesn't actually explode though so the killer doesn't get a notification.
