Pls before saying something make sure you are really experienced with hag.
Unfortunately ideas do not always reflect reality, especially that of really strong players
So, what's the deal? The deal is that I have to face really really strong players. I always play with cross play deactivated, always, because i want to find the strongest players and beat them.
Hag matches are just an on/off, always. Either I find 4 survivors that I completely massacre, and I mean COMPLETELY, where it's no fun and I'd just want to skip to the next match. It happens even with rank 1 players, that on pc only are many more.
Or either I find 4 really good players that I still manage to beat, without items.
Or......... I find 2 players with a flashlight and 2 medkits. Or 3 flashlights and 1 medkit. Or even 4 flashlights. I manage to deal with medkits, even 4. But the biggest problem is that all players come with OoO, bring 2+ flashlights and they know what I am doing always, where the traps are, where to be safe, what I am doing.
There is always one player that chases across the map, always. Deactivates all my traps with the flashlight, and I can't do anything. I bring always the best add-ons.
I try to ignore those players and go somewhere else, but they know where I am no matter what and they destroy my traps. If I chase them and try to steal their flashlights I just have no power. I'm just a m1 killer in that case, when they have a flashlight that can last even 22 full seconds with add-ons. A trap only needs 0,5 seconds to be destroyed by the flashlight. I'm not gonna make them waste it before the match is over, that's sure.
Hag mains, do you have some tips? I know how to use hag, I just need tips against REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY

Not really a hag main sorry but my best guess at that level of extreme exploitation of hag's weaknesses, probably the only option is to stall as much as possible until they run out of charges. I don't see what else can be done at that point, I'd try faking traps to make them go look for traps that don't exist but then your waste time which is also bad. I hope some hag main will have insight to share.
Although if that happened often, possibly adding a perk that grants undetectable into your build might also work.

Survivors is better nowdays in counter Hag having one person just follow you from distance and destroy traps, it's not easy. Franklins is good to get that flashlight on the ground and then trap the flashlight. But overall for me is using also Agitation for basement making it a bit harder for them and NOED is also something they are not always ready for, and with Agitation you might hook someone close to the NOED totem making it hard even for SWF groups. But yeah some survivor teams has learned to bully Hag a lot while others does not have a chance.

full swf with that kind of coordination are unbeatable. Your best bet is to capitalise on a mistake if they ever make one, and rush in setting up your traps as soon as they run away from you.
But if this never happens... well, gg.

Yeah,i know what you're talking about.
Hag biggest weakness are agressive players that interrupt your setup.
Dealing with those kind of players is extremely hard because they know exactly how to trigger your traps without getting hit.Not a fun experience.
I think the only thing you can really do at this point is to take the chase with that player get at least a hit on him or maybe even down him and then continue your setup.

Here's your first big tip. Drop Franklins, it's a noob trap. You'll get a lot more value from other perks.
It's slightly better on hag for item baits but honestly it's kinda cheesey and there's still better. That's more for the memes.

Your plan is to pick your 3 gen right from the start, layer your web there, and then never leave.
Hit and rotate is your tactic. You are almost never chasing, especially out of your web. If you don't have a trap there, you don't go there.
Take advantage of the trap camera swing. Put them slightly to the side of choke points so that as they proc it will swing their character into the wall and not only slow them down more but mess up their fast vault or pallet throw.
You should never have gone longer than 30 or so seconds without having eyes on your 3 gens. That is your win condition.

Problem with that strategy is that competent survivors will see what you are doing and just keep destroying your web.

You could make this argument as almost any killer though. Bar only a couple exceptions against a "good" team you're losing regardless.
So whether you do this web strat or not is irrelevant. As far as Hag is concerned this is your best bet to have a chance. I didn't say it was a strong bet, it's just the best one she has.
It has holes but every other strat she has, has more problems.

According to Almo's statistics, Hag is the strongest killer.
I still don't see why Hag is on par with the Nurse. Hag is a good camper and can lock down an area of the map with the web strat but that's about it.

I'm in the top 150 for phantasms on Steam and I've played Hag in tournaments. Hag goes from extremely easy to extremely difficult very quickly depending on the skill and coordination of the survivors. Keep in mind that Hag has a very hard ceiling at a certain point when survivors are just that good and disciplined. Some tips:
A 3 or 4 gen strategy from the start is absolutely imperative. If you're not running Corrupt Intervention, do it.
Don't bind the teleport to scroll wheel. Good survivors will identify this early and abuse it by forcing you into bad teleports. You need to teleport instantly, but also selectively. I've seen so many Hags screw themselves out of easy downs because they accidentally teleport to a Sprint Burst bait right as they're about to down someone.
Hide your traps. The trigger radius is pretty wide. You can tuck the traps into patches of grass and still get the desired effect.
Offset your traps to alter pathing and deny fast vaults. Take advantage of the camera flick. Instead of putting the trap directly in line with a window. Move it off to the side a little bit so the survivor's camera flicks and kills their momentum.
Don't put the shack trap in the middle of shack. Literally no point. A survivor can just beeline to the window or pallet safely. Plus they can easily see it. Put it in the patch of grass next to the doorway opposite of the pallet. It'll go off as they naturally run shack.
You're going to need some really obscure traps. A common tournament Hag counter is to simply hold W up the edges of the map and force her to commit to closing the distance at 110% or resume patrol. Commit a few traps at the end of your web to the map walls.
As others have said, drop Franklin's. There are so many perks that will give you more value. Flashlights won't give you as much of an issue if you follow my advice and hide your traps more. Even a perk like Agitation will give you more value because one basement hook is often GG with Hag.

Very intelligent comment, seriously. Object damages me so much, really so much. They see me ALWAYS. What you just said is simply the reality of really really REALLY REALLY good survivors, not even competitive players. There are no perks that make me undetectable FOREVER and consistently. Maybe trail of torment, but even then survivors return to gens, and as hag the first trapped gen won't get repaired any soon. Also Object works in a way that even if I am undetectable they know in which direction I am, always, from 72 meters. It's like a reverse spine chill. Faking traps is bad, more time wasted for nothing.

I mean you are basically trying to lose as hag since coordination is her weakness or biggest strength depending on the survivors you get.
I don't really have any tips for this since you have to constantly change your play style to win against good survivors. I can at least tell you that if your being predictable your going to lose so you have to be kinda creative with your trap placement and switch from proxy camping to spreading out your web further to hopefully get them when they just run out of the area your protecting.
hag is a killer who has to adapt to the survivors or bunker down with a strat like 3 genning but against coordination survivors can get past that.

Tell that to devs who still probably think OoO is fine, not to me. I gave my best advice as a not hag main, Michi is one of them most experienced hag mains in the game so try what he said.
Otherwise you need to wait till devs realise how opressive OoO can be and change it.

It's because she's a noob stomper and on average most survivors are pretty bad. She just snowballs unskilled players heavier than many other killers do. That's why she ends up so high.

I constantly spam CTRL at the speed of light so when I am in range I always hit them. So either they get hit or WASTE PALLETS. But if I can't force them to waste pallets I'm screwed. A flashlight comes to me, deactivates the trap with no effort or strategy, and keeps following me.
It takes more time to setup a trap than to deactivate it in half a second. This is absurd.

I am considering again using corrupt, just to have a bit more time from the start, but I think they might do the same thing exactly. If I put traps on them they'll see them, always, I have to setup first and then injure

A statement I'll happily disagree with and give my view.
Yes, I agree on the part that Hag is a noob stomper and is able to snowball quickly but that's just about it. When I look for potentially viable killers, I look for "Are they able to compete at a high level" if yes Nurse, Spirit, and Freddy if no Clown, Wraith, and Trapper. Hag (for me) sits in the middle, between every killer. She does well against bad and average players but does poorly against good and better players.
Might be just me but I find Hag unfun to play because of her 1-dimensional playstyle.

Yep,i remember a tournament i was playing in on coal tower.
I set my web up on 1 side of the map but the other team knew what i was going for so they just started to trigger my traps one after another and if someone got injured then all they needed to do was to heal themself in the other part of the map.

I'm not exactly sure whether corrupt is a good pick on hag,because it increases your chance to get into a chase with a survivor while you are setting up your web which is what you don't want to happen

Range addons, and placing traps in common pathways instead of only in loops
hag is always inconsistent because it relies on survivors to use your power
trapping hooks and common traveled ground is a good way to build some consistency but you can only do so much
If you want consistent games hag isn't the most consistent killer but killers like
spirit, blight, nurse and pretty consistent and one of them is decently fun

Is what it is. That's why we hide our traps. They'll have a general idea of where we trapped but they won't usually see the triangle on the ground unless we don't have other options on good placement. Don't fall into the cycle of teleporting to a bait survivor only to reset the trap right in front of them. They're just going to set it off again as soon as you leave. Area control is area control and OoO isn't going to change that a whole lot.

My best advice is: Always be trapping to places survivors go.
Second best advice: You are too fat and too rich to chase, so just lump around and wait for a trap to trigger.
