Decisive Strike needs to be turned off during End Game Collapse and if you have DS timer active, unhooking someone with DS should remove yours.
Done, it's literally fixed with just that.
Way too anti-SWF of a patch though so it won't change.

I just find it amazing that undying came out 8 September 2020. and is already being gutted but killers have been begging for a DS change for going on 3 years, and its still not fixed. This game is literally losing killers to the point that middle rank survivor queues can be upwards of 10 min how many times are devs going to smash killer in the ground until they realize that it is literally killing their own game?

I don't understand why so much complain about DS. It only comes up if you are tunneling and there should be lot of things in the this game to actively discourage tunneling imo. DS is the ONLY thing to combat tunneling.

Yes they said change was coming back in 2018 and it DID COME
Back in the day decisive strike was just used the first time you got picked up. It was literally just a free get away once per match.

Second.. you are thinking too narrow-minded. DS itself (in concept) is fine. In design, it's driving killer enjoyment down drastically because of the poor way it is "in practice."
Skilled players on both sides who can think clearly... know DS and other anti-tunnel measures are needed. But balance, my friend, is also needed.
