MMR different for each killer
So...
If MMR is going to be different for each of your killers, (which is absolutely ridiculous) then survivors need to be different MMR as well.
Just because I’m a rank 4 with Feng Min, doesn’t mean I know how to play with a Dweet. WHEN WILL THE DEVS REALIZE THIS?!?!
But honestly, different killer MMR is a dumb idea. A rank 1 killer knows the mechanics of the game well enough that they don’t need to farm low rank survivors till they learn a killers power.

And how do I go about playing, for example, with Legion at rank 1 if it is level 1, without any perks?
Currently, we have to farm the BP with a killer A to up a killer B, it's stupid.

Yeah I hope it’s going to assign killers a base mmr so they aren’t going against completely new survivors when they switch to a killer they haven’t played as much.

You realize it’s the exact same way for survivors?
How do people on this forum not play both sides? I’m mind blown.

If you play enough to be a rank 1, then you have enough blood points to level your killer in the blood web up to around 40. You have perks.

I play survivor too. I'm just arguing that it's already good that they are setting up this MMR for the killers.

If it’s good for killers, then it’s good for survivors too.

You can get your Eight Second Chances on any Survivor each killer is unique in their own way it takes practice to be viable with when playing against intelligent survivors.
1 -
It may take practice to compete, but it’s not like playing a new killer has a high enough learning curve to make you de rank to yellow. Realistically at the worst you would derail to 4 or 5, but the idea that this rank 20 level of MMR is necessary is ridiculous.

As long as each killer doesn't start literally at 0 MMR, like halfway or something, I like it.

So I've said this before on here MMR worked for a few of my Killers when it was released the first time I'll use plague for an example I hadn't used her in Forever my first match was against like you said some 16 to 20s. But the next match then immediately upgraded me and threw a green or to into the Match. Then all greens then a couple of purples then all purples so on and so forth so it's not like you got a build from rank 20 to 19 to 18 with each killer or from 0 to 20 or however they want to word it your opponent's get upgraded very quickly depending on how you perform. Which is also why I truly believe you will not only see Freddy spirit and nurse as a rank 1 Survivor you will see other killers smash them right back down to the purples but then see them a game or two later hypothetically.

You can't get 8 second chances on a survivor.
You clearly don't play Survivor.

I took a few months off and was a rank 15 or something and still facing rank 1’s then the occasional green and yellow. Now I’m red it’s practically the same thing. The only issue I see happening if it’s killer dependant rating then survivors can just constantly sandbag themselves until they only face less skilled killers that they’ve been sandbagging themselves against.

Don't think so you can't go from Billy to Blight and except the same gameplay. Or from Huntress to Oni individual MMR will be better for learning new killers.
0 -
This is terribly inaccurate every survivor plays the same way. You can't go from Billy to Huntress and Blight to Oni and play the same way. How does your playstyle change from Ash to Nancy or Jake to Nea they don't.

That is the whole point of the post. Killers have different powers, but identical fundamentals with the exception of maybe nurse. Their powers require time to master, but you already have high levels of experience with looping, and mind games.
Its like saying each perk set needs its own MMR.
0 -
That's all I've played today is Survivor. I'm getting ready to play my first killer game right now.

Perks need their own MMR makes no sense. But every killer needs to use their power to work efficiently a god Billy can't be expected to mind game efficiently with Huntress. And to say they can just loop normally won't work if they don't know how to use their power properly and a God Hag can't be expected to suddenly know how to master Pyramidhead.

And technically you can there is no limit to how many times you can use dead hard but you can use three at least, decisive strike and unbreakable if you pull both off is two add soulguard to it that could be number 6 how about a med kit with a septic agent that's 7 I'm sure you guys can put your imagination together and figure out an eighth one.

Killer powers are not that hard to master except nurse
0 -
That is terribly ignorant. And I now see you don't play killer. You can't easily master Oni and Billy turns overnight. You can't immediately learn to hit every Hatchet and Spear shot. And learn every good trap spot with Trapper and Hag. Every killer has much to learn except Freddy but he's a different story. Survivor is a one trick pony. Killer powers are all unique and take a different playstyle that can be similar but can't be carried over. And Hag a defensive area killer shouldn't be expected to know how to best play a Oni a highly agressive killer. Actually play killer first before saying they're all easy to learn.

I have played enough killer to know that you can play at high levels without too much practice. Yeah, you aren’t going to take on a team of rank 1’s or a 4 man swf, but those are hard to do anyway. Point is that in a few hours, any player who plays red ranks regularly should be able to stay in red ranks with a new killer.
0 -
So you play every killer commonly. You can regularly go between every killer power with polar play styles and get 4ks constantly. And it's still dumb to say it's easy to get down Blight, Oni, Billy, and Huntress.

Stay in red ranks yes possibly because the ranking system will give you a safety Pip with 0 kills, even if you just Chase One Survivor the entire match, long as you literally don't stand still you don't drop so that's not a very good argument dropping rank. I'm just speaking as an overall voice I wish I didn't have to learn blight at Red rank I have been tinkering with him lately and I've been doing much better than expected considering my rank and it has been so fun he is much more fun than I thought you would be. But it took me a while to try him because of my rank I was waiting for the MMR to learn him cuz i didn't want to learn him at a high rank I did turned out fine doesn't mean it would for everyone nor be fun for everyone so I understand where others are coming from.
