Survivors, whats your opinion on blight?

I want to know how survivors see a blight, do you see them as a challenge, OP, weak or balanced ?

Lethal rushes seem to interact weirdly with pallets, the Blight won't start his attack animation, I'll drop the pallet and stun him, and then I'm magically injured? Other than that he's really fun to play against unless the map has a huge open area.

Although I haven't played against much Blights, they are personally extremely fun to play against, the chase feels unique making him a favourite of mine to face.

The only downside I have is that the perks they use are almost always the same (Ruindying, BBQ and Tinkerer) but the killer itself seems fun and balanced.

I think hes great for both sides. i dont think he should be able to break pallets with his dash though.he can break it faster than if he was breaking it the normal way then he can quickly dash at you again. other than that and the odd hit round corners i feel abit cheated on, hes a great killer.

the last complaint though could just be me on his screen being closer than on mine. but i like the killer alot.

My least favorite killer to run into. I'm terrible against him.

I love him. I haven't played him much recently but playing against him is fun to because if the player knows how to use him he can feel oppressive but its also based on how good you are at predicting his run direction and dodging the hits. I also just love watching him run or try hitting me and whiff. He's def a weak killer in the hands of someone new to him but he's got potential to be about as strong as spirit or billy maybe even nurse

he looks good, sounds good, has good lore, good cosmetics, good VFX, good mori all things considered.

high skill level power, not fun to play against because his charges are abusable and can be uncounterable depending on the circumstances, literally everything but the implementation of his power is good, i just don't find him fun to play against.

    sorry blight mains.

I don’t find him to be super strong, kind of clunky to play against. (Pun intended). Overall, just kind of meh. I guess I prefer going against more powered killers like nurse, or maybe jump scare killers.

Balanced king, I love matches with him and find everything to be fair game! I also loved undying before its nerf because it forced me to look for totems, but people still run it and it lets me know at least two of their perk slots are dedicated to totems lol :)!

    This. Very much.

(and I might or might not be the baby Meg in this scenario. But more often than not I am not using Meg for this skillful playstyle)

I think I've played against one Blight ever.

But I personally adore playing as him and I might end up maining him over Trapper at this rate!!

He's got such good gen pressure and good mobility built in.

Right now I'm running bitter murmur, myc, dragons grip and blood favour.

I've 4kd my last 8 games without fail (not that is the fun decider, it would have been fun if they all ended up escaping as well, his power is just too fun)

Quite exciting. Not quite as fun as Oni but yeah I like the unpredictability and the ambush play style. Haven't faced a blight since his event though 😅

Blight requires some skill, certain maps like Hawkins are horribly clustered and it's hard to use your speed to down survivors. I would say that map and perks make or break Blight. He can be fun to play against but, a good open map and Meta perks can make it just about as annoying as any other sweaty.

Can't say since I literally haven't played against one since he was released.

    I love blight.

The matches against him always feel hard yet doable. The chases I also really like, it feels rewarding when I juke and also I have to be ready for a new attack in an instant.

He has good map pressure and I absolutely believe he is one of the strongest killers, in the right hands.

All in all I think he was a good addition to the game.

The perfect killer imo. Great mobility with a fun chase power that requires skill to use

I'm a Blight main, he's fun to play and go against. I think he's in a good spot. He's up there with Nurse and Huntress where the killer is only as good as the player playing them.

A perfect release for those players who practice this game a lot. It's rewarding putting the time in on both sides. Always options in chase and it does feel like the better player this game wins. I agree tinkerer is quite boring to deal with on him because he isnt very loud but I take Blight any day over some of the more boring doomed if you do doomed if you don't killers. Interactive for both sides and exactly what makes a good killer for me. Hopefully we see some more simple but effective designs in future releases from the great feedback I see everywhere about him (fix the pov though). I think once the pov is correct he will be picked much more which is awesome for everyone.

I find him fun to play against but his counter play is a little too easy. Out of the A tier roster he seems the easiest to beat.

Personally he's one of if not the best killer to face atm, really fun to go against. Also like The executioner. But thats because he's challenging

Spies from the shadows, pop, (but thats pushing it) shadowborn, deadmans switch and maybe BBQ if you dont use its aura reading.

Are you talking about compound 33? Yeah that add-on is dumb af, idk how they haven't nerfed that yet. And the 2nd point is entirely the server's fault. I really wish they'd fix these servers soon, some hits look so BS on the survivor's end but it's fine on the killer's, it's only amplified with blight because of his forgiving hitbox on his lethal rush.

Challenge all the way. I enjoy trying to use unique pathing to avoid his power. Some of my most fun games as of late have been vsing Blight. Unfortunately he's become more rare as of recent. Hope to see more Blight players soon

I wouldn't know, I rarely play survivor but if I were to guess if say literally anything else, or even if you use RuinDyingTinkerer just don't drop everything and run as soon as you get that sweet Tinkerer even if you're about to win the chase. You can afford to lose a singular generator.

    Sincerely, GoodBoyKaru

Personally I feel like a good Blight build could be Corrupt, PGTW, BBQ, and maybe I'm All Ears? I don't play too much Blight but I feel like that could be pretty good on him. Maybe PGTW/Bamboozle/BBQ/Surge.

Well if you just abandon every single chase no matter how close you are to winning it just because of that oh so precious Tinkerer then congrats you're one of the reasons I rarely play survivor

Best designed killer. Perfect power, extremely strong, great addons, his chases don't feel irritating to play against like Pyramid or Slinger (And Blight far stronger than both of these guys!), though his chases are super good. It just feels better to get hit by a Blight rather than some other killers, since I have a bit more respect for Blights using their power well.

I like playing against oppressive killers personally. I don't like going against killers that might be annoying in chases but still consistently have gens done against them, it's just unfun because there's not much gameplay whether I'm in chase or holding M1, but I'm still winning. He's the good type of oppressive, good in chases and pressuring the map, but not to the point where it feels BAD to play against him. It's a real challenge but still possible to win, and that's what going against a killer should be. In a way, going against a good Blight feels like going against a better-balanced Nurse, while still being one of the only killers in the game that are really close in strength with her.

I don't think they'll ever make a killer that's better designed than him.
